Some black sands have microscopic gold trapped in their crystal lattice sometimes as well. And PGM's.

Great idea! I've never thought of that before, nor have I ever seen anyone else use this method in this way. I'm planning to buy one of those commercial cylinder magnets, spun like a drillbit on a drill.....unless I first find some round "doughnut" magnets, to mount on some All-Thread rod. They claim it doesn't have the gold-grabbing "Clamshell Effect" that using a static magnet can have. Thanks!

Thankyou sir for a easy extraction method. The book of knowledge(alchemy) is highly sort after. The black sand elimination is crucial and definately time saving. Ive always looked for the smallest anthropods such as termite mounds as potential signs indicating its present in area.understanding biodiversity of flora and ph change on the contact zones. Thanks again from west australia

No magnetic sand is no good for this think . And you don’t need to use it get magnetic sand with the magnet . Do you understand why I using magnetic sand ? Magnetic black sand has dencity 7 gold 19 and quartz sand 3. When you agitating that material gold sinks to the bottom passing black sand but regular sand don’t pass the black sand and stays on the top and you easy can get rid of that sand that way you eliminating usles sand and all minerals literally then black sand then you use magnet to remove all black sand what’s left is your stuff

You don’t have this precipitate melted and assayed, your method is flawed. Stannous chloride will precipitate copper and it looks just like gold, which is why you have to remove it first with HCL.

@@myadventure7069how do YOU know? Ever done an assay on this precipitate? Post the results. The science doesn’t lie. Tin is above copper on the reaction series of metals. You don’t remove the copper, it will be reduced by the stannous. Copper is much more common than gold and silver. Other metals will come out as well.
