I desperately want this deck to be good, Grandora is one of my favorite cards

that chimera duel reminded me of atem vs yugi there if they dueled with meta decks!

Con cada dia que pasa, Gold Sarcophagus se vuelve el eslabon perdido entre un deck ensalada del anime y un arquetipo propi. Y vaya que desearia que mas decks siguieran esa logica. Es como ver el monstruo de frankenstein que es el deck chazz (armed dragon (thunder)/ojama/VWXYZ)

god this deck is just my childhood being made good.

This archetype could have used some kind of spell/trap removal, like a Toy Magician retrain, or an alternate to the Gold Sarc of Light as backup if you can't get the original. Hopefully we get that later on for Yugi

We can still get more support in form of Gold Sarchophagus retrains of the Magnet Warriors, Watapon, Buster Blader, Witch of the Black Forest, Summoned Skull, Curse of Dragon, Blockman, or even cards from DSOD like the Magician Girls, Celtic Guard of Noble Arms, Marshmacaron, Sentry Soldier of Stone, Clear Kuriboh, and Lord Gaia the Fierce Knight

Can someone who knows how to read unlike me tell me why you cannot sei eye of timeus with the Ebon Dark magician?

It's a simple, if very frustrating issue with how Eye of Timeus is worded. Every Dark Magician Searcher, including this new card, searches a card that mentions exactly "Dark Magician" (The Name). Eye of Timeus however, does not mention "Dark Magician" (The Name), but instead calls for "Dark Magician" (The Archetype). This unfortunately means that you can never actually search Eye of Timeus outside of something like Triple Tactics Thrust that can search any Spell. In order for Timeus to be searchable they'd have to Errata it to instead specifically state "Dark Magician" (The Monster) or "Dark Magician Girl" as a valid target for it's effect instead of trying to cover them both under an archetype.

Why didnt the first fire king player use droll after gold sarc?

He got shiftered. It needs to be sent to the graveyard to activate the effect of droll. Ash blossom just need to be discarded, so it works around it. That's why players start with shifter since it works until your opponent turns end if you are going first.

I'm sorry am I stupid or did you put dragoon and dragon knight in your extra deck with no way to fuse?

@@oneofthekindscarf8612 it should be timaeus tbh, it uses 1 less material and you're less at risk of removing the one guy you need to activate your sarc spells

So if you open shifter, called by plus engine, or 2 hand traps plus engine, your deck can beat a lot of other decks… I think that’s true for most decks nowadays. Would’ve love to see some replays that show off more of the deck rather than lucky hands… this deck has a lot of nostalgia, so I was hoping to see if it was actually good or not!
