Gold recovery from 48 CPU AMD K5

Ғылым және технология

Thank you for your interest in this movie. Before you start, please read the following.
The purpose:
As a hobby gold recoverer and refiner with having alot of fun by doing this, I am plaqued by the lack of affordable raw material. To my knowledge the best source, regarding the place I live, is Ebay. But the prices called are often ridiculous high and far from reality, especially if calculating in the shipping costs and duty fees. Not seldom its the 2-fold or more of the value of the recoverable Gold. Then the fun diminishes because the hobby gets to expensive. In my opinion the prices shoot sometimes that high, because I think on the one side, some of my hobby colleagues seem to be blended by the misleading and excessive overestimated tables of Gold content in various e-scrap items. Often they are just copied from each other and brought into another form. One of the most reliable is found here refinementofpreciousmetals.com...
On the other side, some of my colleagues seem to be blended by the garishly way of the sellers. As an example, its a ridiculous nonsense information when a batch of cpus is offered in pounds or ounces.
I want to know how many pieces of each sort are in this batch. Nothing else.
Some brains seem to stop working after reading the word gold in „two pounds of gold…. ceramic cpu“ or similar.
So the purpose of this video is to throw in my five pence in a try to keep my hobby and the one of all the refining colleagues an affordable one by education. This is the first video in a planned series showing the Gold content in different sorts of e-scrap.
New videos will be set online in irregular intervalls.
Not only recovering and refining is time consuming, it doubles the needed time, when filming.
And putting together a video into a passably viewable form takes its hours again.
I will produce videos when I have the time and leisure to.
Safety:
If one does not have a clue about theoretical and practical chemistry this hobby is extremely dangerous. Even when familiar with the chemistry of refining and recovering precious metals (PM) its still dangerous due to the toxicity and aggressiveness of the chemicals used and produced. Chemistry is a hobby of mine for nearly 40years now.
I discovered refining and recovering PMs about 6 years ago in the wake of my other beloved hobby placer mining. Since then I learned tons, first theoretically (see links below) and then by my mistakes practically with sometimes loosing Gold and other PM. Don’t even think to do this at home what you see in the video before you did not studied enough about this science. The golden bible of the refiner and the first step for the interested is Hookes Book: de.scribd.com/document/281595...
Even if you are a decades long experienced refiner STAY AWAY from concentrated H2SO4 (don’t even think to heat it), HF and Cyanide. The benefit isn’t worth the high risk of death or painful and lifelong scarrring of yourself or harming someone else.
If you know enough about these substances you will agree in any detail.
An enormous amount of knowledge you will find in the goldrefiningforum: goldrefiningforum.com/ any question you have, has been asked dozens of times here already, search the forum, please do not ask again. The Forum is down at the Moment for unknown reasons.
Achnowledgements:

A plea:
In my daily life I am very busy, in my spare time I prefer to practise my hobbys or being with my loved ones. So please have insight if I prefer not to communicate or debate not in the comments section nor somewhere else. I just do not have the time and leisure for.
Any question you have will be answered by the links given above.
Comments are welcomed as long as they are decent and fair.

thank you! I don't go to AR directl, because I do want to have tin in my Gold bearing Solutions and I do want to have as less base metal as possible either. Smashing makes no sense, because the amount of Gold wires embedded in the ceramic base is not worth the effort. Remeber, the wires are so thin, that 1g of Gold gives 2.5km of wire. ou can calculate yourself how many centimeters are built in one ceramic base (number of Pins times approx. 1,5cm average distance to the dye)). Then calculate how man cpu ou Need for 1g of Gold wires.
