Thank you sir. I have one doubt. If I’m carrying gold ornaments worth more than 50,000rs means wherthere I need to pay tax for excess amount or the total amount? For example, 20g is allowed for male. Suppose I’m carrying 30g of gold means. They charge for additional 10g or entire 30g?

300 rs per gram plus 3 or 5% tax.... This tax is applicable to the whole amount of the gold? Eg- if I carry gold worth 1L, I should pay a tax of 3 or 5 % of this 1L ?

We are travelling to Dubai next week and planning buy a little gold jewelry for personal use. Myself, wife and my son are traveling. Ex - My wife have limit of 100K INR and myself/kid 50K each. Q) If my total bill is 110K INR. So, will it be whole tax free as it is within the limit of all of us quota of 200K INR ? Q) Is it just limited to a specific user only ? In this case, even though my 50K limit is NOT used at all, my wife's limit exceeded by 10K. Will Duty be charged on 10K in this case ? Please reply Sir

You said in video they apply customs duty aprox 12-13 % max but in this case why they apply 44% how can we objection on this
