Hi I am moving from Europe to US and I have few jewels done have to declare all the Jewels I have.

For investment purposes if anyone wants to get 24k gold bar, there will not be making charges and probably there won't be a big price difference between US and Dubai. Also, on arrival at India they will charge customs for 24k bars. Better to buy bars at Dubai and go back to US.

investment purposes- no need to buy gold bar from Dubai, we could buy digital Gold from major US gold bullion site with better price for investment, they also allow for free physical delivery.

My parents bought gold chain and Bangles in Dubai and got the tax refund in Dubai airport. In India, customs caught based on passport and charged heavy custom tax up to 1 lac on them.

@@hariharangopalakrishnan7137 80 grams gold only . In fact in Dubai airport , the tax returned amount is less than what they paid in Indian customs. My sister stays in Dubai As a permanent resident, she brings gold without duty free and customs never caught. Duty free is only for tourists .

Gold is actually not very beneficial when you buy as jewellery cos gram will be close to 6500 per gram…If you consider investment always prefer to go for gold bar which you can convert into plain bangle for some premium… Also honestly the wastages and making charges is atleast 200% more than actual( I know this cos my dad is in wholesale jewelry business) Also I enquired jewelry price in Dubai airport duty free shops it’s way higher - prefer buying from the kiosk where we can choose in grams - but as usual consider import policies of India…

Bro arrival visa only eligible for the Indian passport holders and green card or valid usa visa or uk or EU residence visa holders only Not for all the Indian citizens

Indian Custom officers are very sincere in where UAE and Singapore flights arrival. No one will stop you if you come from Uk 🇬🇧 bcoz they know people won’t buy gold in UK 😅 India to Dubai to US. Buy gold in Dubai and go to US. Next time take other route to India which country sell high cost of gold.

@@ArthiPrem Could be Prem. But the making charges in Dubai is more than India. Thats why I insist to buy cold coin not bar (you will be answerable when you arrive in India). Then you can buy gold ornaments or convert to INR as per your wish.

Going out with Shorter layovers are not advisable. To reach gold market from Dubai Airport would take 30 minutes.

Yes duty free shop products are way expensive and particularly gold Its the big NOOOO unless if ready to spend 2 grams gold price for buying 1 gram

Yes you are correct Visa on arrival eligible for Indian passport with usa green card or usa visa valid for 6 months or residence visa by UK or EU
