Spring is definitely here with longer & warmer days really changing up the fishing in the estuaries, fishing has not been easy the past week with a very slow bite across all waterways, the key this week was to move around a lot to find the cleaner warmer water as this is where the fish will be more active.
The great thing about spring fishing is the variety of fish we get on each charter, this week we caught our first Mangrove Jack that went 44cm plus some Great Giant Trevally, Big Eye Trevally, Brassy Trevally, Snapper, Bream, Flathead, Grassy Emperor, Queenfish and more on a variety of lure techniques.
Charter bookings are very full with my first availability being late October, I’m taking bookings now up to Christmas so if you want to make a booking I would recommend you get it in to avoid disappointment during peak times.
