Buu's immune to Baby's control because as a Majin, he has full body manipulation.

Goku has been Training for 10 years after Buu plus GT takes place 5 years later so Goku being this strong makes sense

In the GT perfect files it says Gohan has also been training but not as much as Goku. Goten also been training too.

It's scary how not only can Baby lay eggs in people, but he can also control when they hatch which would explain why it took this long for Trunks' egg to hatch and why Goten's egg hatched when he was struggling in his fight against Vegeta.

I like how gt and super are almost counterparts of each other goku turns into a kid by pilaf and in super pilaf’s gang are the ones that turn into kids. Vegeta’s body gets taken over by baby and in super goku’s body is the one that’s snatched by zamasu.
