Nope!! Only vegeta will become the God of destruction because it has been confirmed in the manga when beerus trained vegeta only on one condition that and that was that vegeta will become a God of destruction and in dragon ball dende asked goku to take his place but goku said it was too boring for him so this confirms it that goku won't be becoming an angel because it is too boring for him!!

I believe GT was a lot better but like you said super it just kept bringing old characters back for no reason it reminds me of the dragon Ball z games that keep coming out with time travel that they just keep throwing old characters in the fight for no reason I'm never seen a good dragon Ball z game because the story is just a few minutes fight. That makes no sense but I heard the Creator recently died so I obviously the company that owned dragon Ball z is going to have new people take over the franchise and it will probably go in a very different direction whether it's a reboot or a continuation but very different who knows what it's going to be in the future hopefully it will be more story oriented but I have no idea.​@@thegrandpoketour

This wouldn't make sense for Goku to become an Angel and Vegeta to become a God of Destruction simply because Vegeta doesn't want the Job and this also means Goku can no longer participate in fights but instead only train. There's going to be some other ending with Goku learning from the gods and angels it's not going to be Goku taking Whis spot or Vegeta taking Beerus spot like people think-it's completely out of their character

The reason you think his name is shenron, is becsuse japanese people have difficulty pronouncing L’s. It is called Shen Long, since it is a loan word from Chinese. Long means Dragon in Chinese. Dragon Ball is inspired by Chinese stories.

It's sad but when omega shenron blasts Goku after the fusion dissipates he killed him, when he rises out of the hole behind Vegeta he has already passed but is seen struggling to remain in physical form. It's stated in the perfect GT files which is canon to the anime which is canon to he Z anime

Gods of destruction don't seem to be as all knowing and intelligent as Angels, so I can see how people would think Vegeta might be a worthy candidate for the GOD role.
