To be fair, he was supposed to go back to hell anyway. Plus he was helping out a bunch of people he hated anyway, one of whom sent him to hell twice before. Can’t blame him for being petty 🤷

In the dragonball hell the people are not just death. They are slowly purified until they souls are ready to let go they past and reincarnate into a new body. This means someone who was cruel and selfish like Frieza must experience live and friendship to become neutral again. And it worked - reborn Frieza was way smarter and a bit wiser them the old one.

Imagine if Freiza blurted put right there that "after all it was you Lord Beerus who instructed me to blow up planet Vegeta, right?"

I always loved how everyone outside of the main squad react to Frieza. He truly was the bane of Universe 7, nearly evil entirely incarnate.

Frieza was slick with that halo comment lol.

If Team Four Star was still doing Dragon Ball Z Abridged, I wonder how this would turn out. Would've been interesting to see this crossover with their spinoff "Home for Infinite Losers".

Every mans hell is what he fears the most and every mans paradise is what he loves the most.

Nothing at all against Frieza's English voice actor. He did a fine job of voicing the character. But one thing I like better about the Japanese version is the scene where Vegeta comments on Frieza's halo. The "ksssk ksssk" sound Frieza made did a great job of portraying the anger and resentment of a Frieza who very nearly loses his composure. I always liked that better thant he dismissive laugh in the English version.

I agree! The English VA did well, but I also prefer the "ksssk ksssk" sound in the Japanese version for how it conveys Frieza's frustration. Appreciate you bringing that up!

That and he won't behave himself the only one who he did was his own father King Cold. Who he calls Papa.

He probably would have been too op. He can regenerate, has infinite energy, and can spawn mini versions of himself that are just as strong as super saiyan.

I recall a show I watched years ago. This one fellow was talking about hell. He said let me tell you a secret of heaven and hell. In heaven. In heaven there is a room made exactly like this one. What is considered paradise to one person would be torture to another. Every room is catered to the individual. The room looked like a bad motel room. This room in hell had a radio which once turned on could not be turned off. It played the persons least favorite music. There was also an older couple. They kept asking him to see pictures of their kids and the places they had been. This was this mans hell apparently.

Frieza don't have mother his mom is not canon. Because his father birthed both alone they make eggs to create sons. There is no female in his species.

They likely got personalized Hells. For Frieza, he's a power hungry tyrant who loves oppressing and killing others so being stuck in a peaceful place where he has no power for eternity is his own personal Hell.

No, they most likely accepted being dead and moved on, in the Dragonball afterlife your soul is purified and reincarnated, Frieza just refused to move on

I hate these Hell episodes. It makes these awesome villains act like total clowns.

Didn't actually watch the series but have a good number of details from clips- why did Goku choose Freiza to fight instead of Cell who I THINK was in HFIL with Freiza? Cell is MUCH stronger than Frieza, is it just that he would be less likely to agree to fight with them? Or am I uninformed about Cell being an option at all? And why not Fat Buu who afaik is alive and in prime fighting shape during these adventures? I really need to watch Super...

HFIL isn't canon, that is from Dragon Ball Z abridged. Cell at this point is far weaker than Frieza who was revived and trained to be stronger than Vegeta and Goku who got WAAAY stronger than Cell by this point. Frieza would kill Cell in a second. As for Fat Buu, they were going to recruit him but he ended up going to sleep and couldn't be woken up from what I heard so they needed a replacement and Frieza was the only other super strong fighter they had in this universe.

100% Frieza got ragdolled by Goku having just discovered SSJ Cell was evenly matched against Goku after he mastered SSJ, learned new techniques, and spent a year training Earth's next strongest fighter. Mecha Frieza got absolutely destroyed by Future Trunks. Future Trunks post year training with Vegeta couldn't even handle a Cell Jr.

And that is me after rewatching super and realising more and more it's just ruining the characters i love and me when I'm in the star wars fan community oh god the fan community is the worst

i love how super went the first parts where boring as shit but the last 3 arks where prob the best DB content ever

god, every clip i see of super is so disappointing. Just watching them re-use villains or go "what if goku was evil?" arc and have nothing new to offer but changing hair colors.

@@JeanYossa I feel like they couldve just given him a golden form just like the freezer that removes the dots, because picking freezer was genuienly a horrible idea cell on the other hand had honor and probably wouldnt blow up the planet, betray his teammates, lure the enemy onto a false sense of security, commit hate crimes, call people monkeys and still struggle to be an ally with goku even though the fucking universe is at stake

He couldn’t train in hell. And even if he was brought back, remember Frieza was hit with Hakai. And he had trouble with it, in his golden form. Cell would’ve been dead, thus Universe 7 is disqualified.

Cell never got the chance to come back and improve like Frieza. At this point of the story, Frieza absolutely stomps Cell, it'd be no contest.
