It's a cool idea - kind of funny. But it doesn't actually work when you think about it. No one had ever witnessed Freeza's true form. Not many people even knew he could transform. And the only transformation he's used in the past offscreen at some point was his second form. It's never explained what caused him to go to his second form. I suppose it could be argued that Cold was aware of Freeza's true power, given it's presumably one of the reasons he handed down his empire to his son.

LOL why would you build a power level measuring machine that explodes and kills everyone in the room when it measures large power levels.

@@jmeds94 For Yamcha it is filler but it is true for Piccolo whom by my calculations, trained for about 2 weeks tops and went from 3-4k to +100k and fused with nail to get to around 1 million or more.

Damn, DBZ has some amazing filler. This scene is great. The way Not-Cui guy talks about "only two kinds of people existing now" is really interesting and does wonders for world building. It really sheds a light in the kind of universe Freeza was creating under his rule.

It’s crazy to think that Frieza’s and goku’s power levels at the time could cause a computer to explode from light years away.

It’s funny looking back at world building filler like this in the grand scheme of things, considering that powers in the 100s of millions were enough to overload the system. Just imagine if Dabura, Broly or Moro happened to cross into that planet’s general vicinity- instant annihilation.

Sucks, what happened to the first guy. He actually seemed pretty cool. Still had a weird head though. Either way, guess they’re extinct now. Ah well.

Frieza’s men had power levels of 1,000-5,000. On Planet Namek the old ass Namekian guy unlocked Krillin and Gohan’s full potential. Krillin had a power level of 15,000 while Gohan had one of 18,000 so yeah, Krillin could one shot all of these fools.

@@terrymack024 The average soldier has a battle power of somewhere over 1.000. It seems like the standard. In DBS Broly, Cheyla was sent to people with BPs of over 1.000 and recruit them. And she noted it's rare to find anyone with such power.

I like this filler, the world building give a feeling to dragon ball z universe a strong feeling that it is a living universe fill with life and history.

I was just thinking about this and I'm still confused. Cui was the one killed by Vegeta on Namek but, this one here is the only one who had a cape. The actual Cui never had a cape but, he was supposed to be as powerful as Saiyan saga Vegeta before the Zenkai boost. Yet this one with the cape was so weak that a computer explosion killed him?

V fa' Vellian-Yeah it did happen, you’re even seeing the replay right now. Guess your vision is going? It was technically filler but during the Goku vs Frieza battle towards the end. If you don’t remember this then you aren’t a true DBZ fan. I was a kid when I first saw this episode one time and I still remember it all these years later-it was iconic because it showed Frieza kept his henchmen terrified of him even after they could finally start speculating he might not be the strongest in the galaxy. To put it in perspective you don’t need to fear the general the most if your own lieutenant is ruthless enough. Frieza knew how to rule with an iron fist to keep his henchmen fearfully loyal even after they imagined they might be free of him.
