Most appear to be able to be used in upholstery, leather, and furniture repair. Beautiful tools

MV Stirling Castle built by Harland and Wolf 1935. It was one of the troop ships that my father in law served on during WWII... he was a medical orderly in the RAMC.

Stirling Castle was a passenger ship of the old union castle line. These ships used to call at South African ports, delivering passengers, post, and british magazines, amongst other things.

The ‘moon knife’ is called a head knife, it’s an iconic leather working tool. Joseph Dixon was a Walsall based leatherwork toolmaker, very highly regarded. Walsall was the leatherwork capital of England hence the toolmaker. I’m privileged to own one of these knives and it’s an absolutely fabulous tool (valuable as well). Great find! Also, Brades was another local toolmaker, based in Oldbury (though their 1927 catalogue proclaims them to be “Of Near Birmingham “….), another great, quality company.
