Great video Marc. I actually passed you going in the other direction. I noticed the orange helmet and saw your "foreign" licence plate in my mirror, then you were gone! The Lake District is a super place to ride a motorcycle, I'm sure you'll agree. Keep up the good work.

As we've just talked on Paddy's stream, I LOVE THIS KIND OF VIDEOS. Gonna absorb all your videos bit for bit. The ~10 minute portions are just the right size but I'd also enjoy a really long one for just zoning out.

Your electric bike content has had me glued to your channel for days now. Then I realized that your first rate film making skills are half the reason. You do some seriously good creative work, keep it up!

Loving the videos and adventures on Eve! Wondering if you can include a map as the travels develop so we can see where you’ve been and how you’re progressing round the U.K. / world? Excited to see more of the Lake District tomorrow!

I explored Lake District last weekend on my Honda CB500X, the Wrynose and Hardknott passes were excellent, with the Roman Fort next to it. Majestic setting 👌🏻 And another tip is to go and see the Castlerigg Stone Circle (drone highly recommended in all these spots!)

Super beautiful footage 😮. I love the Hardknott pass and the Wrynose pass on the bike 🏍️.

Great to see you made it to the lakes , I ride these roads frequently. Your lucky not to get too wet , there's a bikers cafe in Keswick , the filing station , also try and do hardknott and wynross pass , they are steepest roads in the UK , eve is doing great ,great enjoyable videos, have fun mate 👍👍

Marc. Your greeting to the cow was good, as they are nice intelligent animals. Saw an idiot carrying a round bale, on the front of his machine, at about 2 metres from the ground. Very risky. In England do not worry about climbing over hills. The highest point is just over 1000 meters. The Honiston Pass is only 324m.

Marc, Your daily videos are the best I have watched on KZread. I’m doing a 500 mile, two day ride this week and I can’t imagine having to add charging into the mix. Keep going and be safe. Regards, Larry

I live in the south of England where there are lots of narrow roads and lanes, it common driving practice to drive in the middle of these roads / lanes - and not drive too fast. Its the same in the highlands of Scotland.

“Ive been so lucky with the weather, I know thats not normal” You’d be surprised at how normal it is, everyone bangs on about the weather but we’ve had some great summers in Scotland the last few years. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Lake District passes with good visibility and no rain - YEESSSS, GET IN😁 Don’t forget the Langdale Valley before you leave the Lakes👍👍

As the poet said once : "Nothing can stop me I'm all the way up !" 😆

Instant torque. Instant power. Instant fun. That's what it is. Every problem petrol bike driver are discussion the last 80 year (which torque at which rpm, thrust at low rpm, shifting setup, ...) are not present with electric engines. These electric engines can do everything better than the petrol engines. Fur sure, as I said before, we have to talk about the battery and charging. Good to see that you had so much fun with your bikes in the mountains. I know this fascinating way of driving very well!

@@UserUser-ww2nj Oh man ... what had I said: the engine ... THE ENGINE! And I pointed out the we have to talk about the energy storage system: the battery and the charger solutions. But the electric motor, with its utterly exceptional torque and power curve (not really a curve but a straight line) is, of course, outperforming any petrol engine on all fronts. You will understand it when you are on the road with such a drive for the first time.

@@zerodschannel No thanks . I rode from the U.K to Spain twice on a gasoline engine bike in two days , that would have been three on an electric bike so a day lost and an extra hotel bill to pay . Electric bikes and most electric cars are o.k for commuting and going to the shops , anything else no

Epic footage and storytelling as always! You highlighted a good point about EVs: The feeling of effortlessness. There's only one gear and gobs of torque, so they just go. No downshifting and whining engine. Looking forward to more footage form the Lake District!

I perticularly enjoy seeing your camera work and appreciate the production quality of each video. When this trip is over, perhaps you can do one special video on your production and post-production process. I'm sure we would learn a lot.

Did you know there's only one actual lake in the Lake District - Bassenthwaite Lake? The rest are "waters such as Coniston Water or "meres" like Windermere - mere is an old English word for lake

Marc, check the port on your phone, they can get a build up of fluff in the socket. Try to clean it out with a pointed pair of tweezers. Be careful not to snap off the tab if it's an Android phone.
