One of my all-time favorites, the filming was beautiful, and the colors were so vibrant. Your graciousness with the children and their parent at the end was classic Taku generosity and kindness. Truly 10 out of 10. Great work by both of you.

Hello Taku, Im sure you don't remember me, but my fiance and I wrote you back in California and you helped us out tremendously with places to forage and ways to eat. At the time we were struggling and lost everything. We just wanted to thank you for helping us in real life and touching our lives in a very positive and productive way. Anyways just wanted to say thanks man, since you, we have learnt so much.

Wow! Im really impressed how hospitable and generous you are. A lot of people are not like this. From hard work to actually sharing this food for free. A lot of people could have been greedy and set their own barriers. But you are an amazing person! Thank you for your work and a message to share experiences with others as well when the opportunity comes in.

I grew up in San Diego California. It was fairly common to hook onto mako sharks while trolling for tuna around the channel islands. Mako sharks in that area mainly feed on juvenile albacore tuna. I'll tell yuh. Mako shark is one of the best eating fish in the ocean. Hands down!

24:26 collagen, not fat, you cleared the oily dots with the kitchen towel. Fish stock as well as bone/meat stock can be extremely lean but allow for beautiful gelée texture just thanks to their naturally occurring gelatine content.
