Very insightful! I’m a clinical embryologist in Ghana and I’ve always been intrigued with embryogenesis and the role of genetics.

I am 38, just have first cycle of IVF, but fail. First beta hcg came very very low number. Now waiting period start so I can do next cycle. I think because of my ago that’s why the embryo can not implantation as good as young women. In Sydney the clinic I do they transfer the embryo on day5. So far I still had one in frozen. Wish me luck

I’m 38 as well. I had an ERA to help determine the best time of endometrial receptivity and when to transfer. I transferred and got pregnant but had a miscarriage at 8 weeks due to probable chromosomal abnormality or insulin resistance.

@@o.o99 Endometrial receptivity analysis is the name of the test. The basically do an intrauterine biopsy and send out for this test to check what time is best for your embryo to implant. Embryo Transfer times can be changed accordingly.
