How sis it go i have been takeing DHEA for 1 month i have 9 follicles and only 4 egg s were retrived 42 years. And 2 stopped the day 5 2 hrs before they Were to sett back . I want to continue takeing 300mg DHEA til august

I am in a similar situation as you, my AMH was 1.09 at 30 and the other hormonal result were good. In 2 months I'll be 32 and my doctor just told me I have DOR (Diminished ovarian reserve at 32). I've been TTC since 29 yo. Did you succeed in getting pregnant? I am just studying DHEA too...

Hello Doctor. I’m 44, amh is 0.88, fsh is 9. My baseline DHEA-S was 50mcg on May 1st, as of June 23rd, it has risen to 471mcg. I was taking 75mg/day, spaced out. I had 7 follicles this past cycle vs 1-2 follicles before commencement of DHEA supplementing. I’m concerned it’s too high now so Shall I reduce to 50 or 25 mg/day or continue W/ 75mg daily? Thanks in advance!

I took DHEA but I had side affects, acne and oily skin my hair falls alot. Moreover, i did 3 times IVF but all ended up not transfering due to eggs quality. Emberyos were not successful

Check with your doctor. She/he will have to factor all medical issues. Depending on high or low thyroid and PCOS.

I'm 44, had a miscarry 4 months ago... my FSH is 18, AMH is 0.7, Estridol is 48 pmol/L, LH is 9.9 IU/L. I was told I would need a donor. My cycles are all still regular. What are my chances of conceiving with my own eggs? The fertility doctor told me there isn't much they can do for me because of my age, even though i'm super healthy active and fit. Would appreciate any advice. PLEASE.

Please search for PRP treatment. It is possible with those levels. I have much worse level amd had done PRP, and hoping that it can work

We advise patients to not self-medicate because something that worked great for one person may not be the best thing for another. That's also why we individualize all aspects of fertility treatment for each patient. Thanks for your comment, though!
