No need to start the vehicle every week. Had been using diesel vehicle from last 12 years , many times have kept it idle for a month but never faced an issue. If you want to keep it idle for more than a month, it's better to remove diesel from the vehicle and disconnect battery terminals.

I guess Diesel cars needs to be moved in a while, as the torque will not be build unless moved. Hence its always better to move a diesel car once in a while. If you have plan to return India then don't disturb Ayushman's study there. He can come in summer vacation and go back. Kids studies heavily disturbed when we come and go back during 6-12 th grades .
