There is a Buc-ee‘s near us here in Florida. They have the best price on diesel, so that’s where my husband fills our truck.

Yes, It was my first time there and I will definitely go back as soon as I can hopefully soon.

I've seen that one from I-10. I stopped at the one near San Antonio. I think there is also one near Florence, SC. The rest rooms are like art galleries!

There's two in Florida st Augustine and Daytona on I 95.

There no place like Buc-ee’s. Always stop by when in Texas.

Yes, I an happy that I finally went.

Buc-ee's is an experience unto itself. Love the food, I just can't handle the crowds. I've never been in one that wasn't absolutely PACKED, I can't believe how empty this one is!

Maybe it was the time I was there. I heard it is not always that way so I think I got lucky.

Great video. There will be a Buc-ee's coming to Virginia. It will be just outside of Richmond in a town called New Kent off I-64 at exit 211. The store will be 74,000 square feet and have 120 gas pumps. It should open in 2027. That should be a short drive for you in the Norfolk / Virginia Beach area.

Beaver nuggets are very good. Hard to explain but they are good!

Wow that has station is huge dude …. I’ve seen videos of Buckie’s and ppl rave about the jerky ….. jerky is one of my fav snacks ….. if I ever go to America I would love to go to Buckie’s (spelt wrong sorry) 😊

They didn't have Buccees when I shipped out of Houston in the early 70s. We did have a Greek bar on Clinton, across the Ship Channel from the NMU hall, but they didn't have any gas pumps. lol

I did not try any Buc-ee's snacks as I was not hungry, but next time I will for sure....

Where or what is a Buc-ees. Some sort of tribute to beavers? Why is there such a demand for the merchandise. It seems(what ever it is) to be just as popular as Disney Land?...

I believe the name is because beavers have really big teeth which are also known as "buck teeth" and it is a huge gas station and store which is why it is well known because it is so much larger than what would be considered normal and they have so much merchandise. It is a really nice place.

The name and mascot come from the founder Arch "Beaver" Aplin III, who gained the nickname "Beaver", during his childhood and it was inspired by the "bucky beaver" mascot featured in the ipana toothpaste commercials of the 50's and 60's. The first Buc-Ees was opened in 1982 in Lake Jackson, Texas. Today, there are dozens of locations, most of them are throughout Texas with more and more being planned, built, and opened inside and outside of the Lone Star State.
