I wanted to be Carmen Harlen growing up. I lovedddd and still do love her! I went to college for mass communication because of her. I am a teacher now, but she was definitely inspirational to young black girls in Detroit.

I think Mort may have had a crush on her ...

I worked with all of them in the late 80's in Detroit, when I was fresh out of Wayne State University's Journalism School. They are all such nice people and I am still in awe of how much I learned from them.

same here bro..she was classy and fine. And Im from Ohio too....I used to tell my aunties in Detroit how I loved me some Carmen.
