I dont think muslims can't make dua for a dead non believer, which is narrated in hadith and in a verse of Quran. "It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives, after it has become clear to them that they are companions of Hellfire." Muslim narrated in his Saheeh (916) from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “I asked my Lord for permission to pray for forgiveness for my mother, and He did not permit me. I asked Him for permission to visit her grave, and He granted me permission.”

He was the second one. Another soldier set himself aflame just back in December in front of the Israeli embassy in Atlanta Georgia. The news never reported that and has not mentioned this either. It was mentioned in the new york times article on this guy.

Here is why there are lot of people (who think literally) disagree with you is that they know Gog and Magog will come only when Jesus returns. But the fact that God and Magog will come in batches or waves. One big wave\batch has already been released & they brought those people to the banned city\land. There will come another batch\wave of them when after nabi Isa (Jesus, pbh) returns. I hope this will clarify their confusion. Sheikh INH is the leading scholar on this.

Sheikh, may I ask why you use the terminology Gog & Magog and not Yajuj and Majuj as these are the Quranic indicators? Without wanting to bring cognitive dissonance to those present here, YT58 on the Marvellous Quran channel has an exemplary interpretation.

he is completely wrong when he says that gog and magog are already out. COMPLETELY WRONG!. its an outrage and it contradicts nearly all authentic hadiths. they are a major sign just like dajjal and daabah and mahdi isnt even out yet.

Gog and Magog are the US and Britannica.

This interpretation is based on passages like Obadiah 1:18, which states: "And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau stubble; they shall kindle in them and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau; for the LORD has spoken it." Doesn't this mean that the children of Israel who descend from Esau are now Muslims?

The funny thing is, that no one (certainly not muslims) are talking about is; Look at how much Christians and non muslims are doing for and supporting Palestine, on all levels from political to personal. But would this happen to a non muslim you'd never see any muslims demonstrating in the streets day and night or politicians in muslim countries caring the least about it. If the oppressor would be a muslim, other muslims would even commend them. No it's not climate change, it over use. Look at all the people using such a arif place. It's not meant to handle all the people and industry. There is also a earthquake fault that runs from turkey right through israel. A big earthquake could open it up and drain or swallow the water.
