Specifics: The D.F. 99 was developed in 1899 by Goerz Berlin and officially introduced to the German Army in 1903. It has a special type of individual focusing in which the eye pieces do not turn when rotating. Since it was recommended for artillery use, many of these models bear the symbol of the artillery of that time. This model was subsequently painted over, making the inscription very difficult to read.

The prism should be cleaned. The optics are still very good. Is this goerz binoculars 7x20?

@@user-ko9jd7dm9o Kauf dir besser ein original Armee Fernglas mit Einzelokularverstellung. Entweder ein russisches oder das RD-6x30.

BlackForestRecon Ich besitze ein normales BPC 8X30 und habe mir ein RD 6X30 bestellt. Also deiner Meinung nach ist das RD besser? Und ist der Unterschied groß weil das RD „nur“ 6X ist und das andere 8X oder merkt man das nicht?

@@user-ko9jd7dm9o Ich habe gerade einmal einen kurzen Vergleich gemacht zwischen dem RD 6x30 und einem russischen ZOMZ B8x30. Nach meiner Einschätzung sind beide optisch etwa gleich gut. Die Vergrößerung 8x ist natürlich bemerkbar. Da beide Ferngläser aber vom Einsatzbereich in die gleiche Kategorie fallen, sollte das kein Kriterium sein. Allerdings handelt es sich bei dem ZOMZ von dem ich auch noch ein Video machen werde um ein Armee-Modell und nicht um die zivile Variante mit Mittel-Fokussierung. Die zivilen Ferngläser mit Mittel-Fokussierung sind bei weitem nicht so gut wie die militärischen Modelle mit Einzelokularverstellung. Bei uns hier machen die Grenzen am 15. Juni wieder auf und ich hoffe, dass das Wetter dann besser wird, damit ich das Video mit dem RD 6x30 machen kann.
