i have been trying to open my W. Watson and sons 1945 binoculars for quite some time now, and this was the only part i wasn't able to open, and now thanks to you i did it. So, thank you

What I do is collect as much of the sealant as you can,put it into a metal container something like a small tea light holder and reheat it if possible it then can be used again or failing this pliable modern wax can also be used

great instructional video. But when reassembling the eyelens portion to the diopter scale, how do I make the "0" , "+" or "-" markings match those of the other ocular? Thanks, just wondering, because my 0 mark ended up on the other side of the ocular.
