I’ve got a half-dozen or so (silk) items from Goelia and like them a lot. I like the items in their “World Traveler” (or something like that), line, they have a classic, Old World charm, which is very much up my alley. The silk is quite thin, but that’s reflected in the lower prices, which aren’t unfair for the quality - it is genuine mulberry silk, if not the finest. I can’t wear synthetics and most of their items are made from acetates, which don’t breathe at all. They promote those as “better fabrics”, but they’re not. Silk is far superior to any synthetic. I got one “silk” knit top, but was disappointed to find that it was a silk blend, my fault for not reading more carefully, I suppose. Their style is on the modest and conservative side, not for everyone perhaps, but perfect for me (no religious requirement, I just always dressed modestly, no visible cleavage, we women are not just eye candy for men). Size up a least one size, two even. I’m US Medium, and their Large skirt is too tight in the waist, these are definitely Asian sizes. They didn’t seem to have XL, or US Medium to Large, in many items, bigger women might not find much there.

What size did you end up getting in the two piece cardigan skirt set (the Chanel inspired one). I don’t know what size to get! (I think I might be around your size!)

I love gold or white sandals or slingbacks for spring and summer, they always look elegant, especially with a white outfit. At those with least with lower, block heels, or in flats, do. High-heeled stilettos aren’t appropriate for daytime wear and spoil the elegance of a day outfit.

I've been unsure about Goelia as I've read some bad reviews about shipping and refund delays. It seems that everyone on KZread is promoting the brand. But the pieces are very much my style so I might try them out to see for myself.

Just treat it as final sale purchase. For Canadians, the warehouse for return is in hongkong. Courier will cost more than the purchase. Really measure your size and the garment before you decide to place order. Online purchase has its disadvantages 😂

If you tuck the top into the Spanx, it won’t show through whites🙂
