seeing how excited and happy heechul got when he was given the opportunity to talk about hangeng makes my heart swell and crumble a bit at the edges. also hangeng really REALLY reminds me of yixing (lay from exo) in so many ways, from his voice to his mannerisms and such. i wonder how heechul reacted when he was introduced to xing, honestly.

Ah, Kim Heechul. What a character. He cracks me up every time. He got so excited talking about Hangeng and imitating him. His impersonations are the best xD But this clip made me sad too, knowing that Hangeng's left. Heechul loved Hangeng so much - you can totally tell from here - imagine how he must have felt when Hangeng left :(

Basically Heenim just doing imitation of Hankyung along in this interview

I will never ever get tired from watching this video, I hope heechul and hangeng still contact with each other they are really the best combo, I wont wish for them to reunit cause I know its impossible but I want them to still be friend and show that to us

I watched this about 8 years ago, and I just had the FEELS. Even now, I really, really, really love their friendship. Heechul was honestly promoting Hangeng, by singing his parts, and explained to viewers that Hangeng couldn't appear on some programs because of visa issues. I just really, really, really love the glow in Heechul's eyes. Even though Heechul is better now, I don't think I could ever find the same glow in his eyes, like he did whenever he talked about Hangeng and when they were together... I'm happy both Heechul and Hangeng are doing well. They truly have something special between them, you can just see it. :)

SM really fucked over Han Geng... and ruined not one but two of the eternal OTPs (Cassies, you get me). Seeing Heechul this happy just /talking/ about Geng and seeing Geng just quietly adoring in the background.. T__T I miss them so much.

watching in 2017, i remembered in knowing brothers yongchul(?) mentioned hangeng and heechul smiled and acknowledged it.

Royals it wasn’t really Sm fault. At that time because he was a foreigner he wasn’t allowed in many shows and Koreans weren’t really accepting of foreigners as seen when the fans did not allow Henry and Zhou I to be part of super junior.

redblackshirt Koreans are becoming more accepting of foreigners and most shows allow foreigners on but there’s still a slight discrimination against them especially in the older generation. Not because of anything but just because as u probably can tell Korea has a strict culture, and though the younger generation is more accepting, the older generation are still “ehh” with foreigners.

Claker Se there are obviously still bullying and discrimination among the iu her generation but it’s much better than the previous generations. If you go to Korea, the younger generation are majority wise very friendly to foreigners.

It took me a while to realize Heechul was making fun of Hangeng's accent xD

This video never gets old LOL :3 our Heenim can never get tired of talking about his hankyung, can he? I miss this combi sighs~~ but considering they still keep in contact and meet up, I'm already content because this brOTP will never sink :D

omg they're so great together but yet the contrast between them is so huge, like Heechul's just talking and talking and talking really loudly and then Hangeng's all quiet, I mean the fact that Hangeng's not super fluent in Korean probably contributes to that, but still :P

I like how Heechul mentions the fact that hangeng still shines on stage even though he has few lines and time in the spotlight. I feel like idols generally don’t express how unfairly the line distribution is in a lot of songs but suju are so transparent about these things it’s rather refreshing.

Maybe because he's not in variety shows that much nowadays... So we don't see this side of his too often. Only on SNS. Hahahaha. But who knows what craziness he'll do on their comeback XD

2:40 might be my favorite part. Hangeng's gotten fed up with Heechul making fun of him, and Heechul's little "be quiet, I'll say something else" and his ridiculous cackle are so cute. And Geng just looks so... I don't know... proud? Happy. It's adorable. I also love how the others are too shy to really say these things in front of the person they're talking about, but Heechul's actually engaging Geng in the conversation. He doesn't try to lower his voice or be discreet, LOL.

there's a famous instance where Hangeng decided to wear a mask and perform on stage so that SJ could give the performance as planned...but Heechul later pulled his mask off and Hangeng kept trying to cover it as he was scared. There won't be any photos or videos of this incident...i guess sm got em all removed. Ah...I'm glad I know all this despite being a shawol. SuJu is a talented and warm group too.

2019 .... How life has been my fellow elf? Our oppa have finished their military service but only 9 retuned . They've been on many variety shows , with all 9. I laugh hard at the same time cried so much. I miss them. Kibum oppa is on a variety show with Heecul oppa. Have you guys seen it? I cried, even tho there is mothing to cry about. I miss them all... I miss all 13 of them together. More than a decade we've been with them with the ups and down.
