Yeah, agreed. I don't think she would really want that job anyway, the girl's gotta lot of freedom to catch up on now, and can likely feel the sincere good vibes from Big K.

According to the funny and heartwarming sections of TV Tropes, Kong's reaction to Doug stealing his food from him is one of annoyance rather than aggression, suggesting that this is a regular occurrence, and it's implied that he (Kong) has grown at least *_a little bit_* fond of the mischievous creature enough to let him take some of his food 🤔🤷‍♂️🤗😁😉👍😌.

Next to King of the Monsters, Godzilla X Kong is my second favorite Monsterverse film. Getting to see the two Titan icons team up once more, with new upgrades against the savage Skar King and Shimo, plus the addition of Mothra’s return was all that I could ask for. Definitely one of my top films of 2024!

I love the Monsterverse movies cause they remind me of all the older Godzilla vs monsters movies which are my faves.

Skar King enslaves the male kongs & takes their mates and sires offspring with them. That scene showed several babies with their mothers in the background, while the males are slaving around. All the babies have red fur. Suko is most likely the eldest of Skar’s offspring. Suko is also enslaved. The elder ape is Suko’s caregiver ( the one kicked in the lava). You also see a scar over Suko’s eye, inflicted on him by his abusive controlling father, who sees Suko as lesser than. Kong sees the pain in Suko, remembering the pain he felt alone as a child. Kong has seemingly adopted Suko as his own aka Son Of Kong ( the original title of the movie )

The Creatures that appeared in this movie are: Leafwings(the birds flying) , WartDogs(the giant dog pack) ,Kong, Doug( the giant lizard stealing kongs meal), Parrot Frog, Scylla(the giant squid crab), Godzilla, Suko (the baby Kong’s name), vertacines (the flying creatures the ship was flying with), Tiamat(the giant sea dragon serpent), hell hawks(the birds that looked like a mix of hawks and bats), Warbats(the flying serpents), DrownViper(the sea serpent that attacked Kong), Tree Mimic( the creature that ate the mercenary) , Skar King, Shimo, and Mothra.

Kong and Godzilla relationship compared to Goku and Vegeta is spot on.

Some of the Great Apes have individual names: according to TV Tropes, according to the novel, the one with the blind right eye 👁 (and Skar King's main enforcer) is fittingly called "One-Eye" and is apparently one of Skar King's many children alongside Suko and other infants 🤔😓. The one that Kong tries to save from falling off the cliff but ends up having to kick him off the cliff for real in self-defense because he was a sorry little ingrate who still attempted to kill Kong after he had just saved his life 😠😡🙄😒🤨, his name was Stone Fist 👊 ✊️ 🤛 🤜. Another one of the initial attackers along with One-Eye and Stone Fist was called Catcher. Another one of Skar King's goons, the one crushed by Kong's giant swinging stone trap was apparently called Knob. The ape who was Suko's caretaker whom Skar King brutally murdered in front of Suko and Kong, his name was Gnarled Finger, and while "friend" might be going a bit far, the novelization reveals that, prior to meeting Kong, Gnarled Finger was the only Great Ape to treat Suko with any measure of kindness by letting him eat the scraps of his meals and shielding 🛡 him from being attacked by the other apes 🥺😣😔. And the Great Ape slave that Kong helps up and beats up the bully that was abusing him, while not named in the movie, was named "Boots" by the movie's vfx animators 🤔😉.

I love the natural progression of the bond between Kong and Suko. Even with that "I'll beat a motherfucker with another motherfucker" moment. And the fact that Jia was prophesized as a hero who can rouse Mothra from her slumber is amazing, same with her meeting other members of her tribe. Also, I not only love the "Aw, shut up" punch on the ape annoyingly running his mouth a few seconds before Kong met Skar King, but the part where Kong lobs a rock and creams the one ape in the head. 😆🤣 Fun fact: Dan Stevens also played The Beast in the remake of Beauty And The Beast.

@@daz97 I'm inclined to agree. Usually, they get way too much in the way of the main focus or get lost in the storytelling. But Jia was ACTUALLY pivotal to the story in this. Then there's Trapper and how he retrieved the B.E.A.S.T gauntlet for Kong and lured the Verticine into the battle against Skar King's ape army.

They're trying to do it more with just the monsters interacting and still maintain the plot moving forward without the need for dialogue. They've finally got the memo that the monsters are the actual stars and try to adjust the storytelling to their point of view. Even in this one there's a huge stretch of the movie where it follows Kong and doesn't have any dialogue. That combined with making the humans more tolerable? Yeah, Godzilla fans eatin' good lately..

this is my favorite movie of all time. The creature that took Kong's food is Titanus Doug but the name of species of the creature is called a Foetodon or Hollow Earth lizard, the giant flying like snake with the red wings are called Warbats. I watch the Monsterverse for a long time, so I know the names of all the titans, and I learned a lot about the Monsterverse from a youtuber name goji center he explains a lot about Godzilla and the titans in the Monsterverse. The kong that Skar King killed wasn't the little Kong's father. From the videos that I watched about Skar King he kept all of the female kongs to himself so the kongs that were in the throne room where Skar King rests were all females and the ones that were working were the males. So, the mini kong also known as Suko and all the other baby kongs that were seen in the throne room were fathered by Skar King. The kong that Skar king killed could've been an older brother or an old friend looking out for Suko. The ice titan Shimo is also known as the mother of all titans so she's much older than all the titans in the Monsterverse, she's also the largest titan she dethrone King Ghidorah as the largest Ghidorah was 521 feet tall and weighed 141,000 tons, Shimo on the other hand stand at 450 feet tall when standing on all fours, but when standing on its hind legs she's 531 feet tall and weighs 200,000 tons. From some videos that I watched of Shimo's sad story she wasn't the villain she was the victim being forced to do what Skar King wanted and Skar King had it coming when Shimo froze him. Out of all the villians in the monsterverse the Mutos, Skullcrawlers, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, and Skar King it's between Skar King and King Ghidorah that are the evillest titans in the Monsterverse.

Monarch season 2 will focus on Kong. The next Monsterverse movie has been approved with a writer and director already hired. Hopefully, the next movie will focus on Godzilla with Kong being a supporting role. Since we have Kong's "son", I hope we get Godzilla's son too. Also we need to bring in the space monsters like Gigan, Hedorah, Space Godzilla or Kaiser Ghidorah( he's like a cross between Shimo and Ghidorah).

But she evolved to be much bigger and more aquatic given the crab appearance. Goji killer her cuz in the comic that happens right before this movie she had attacked nuclear plants and was charging up to try and take goji out and become the alpha. i watch this reaction soon but before i say this: I like this version of godzilla, godzilla guardian of earth Name Godzilla comes from a legend where god created a pet lizard to guard/protect earth God part obvious, zilla means lizard, together they are gods lizard/godzilla that's why godzilla minus 1 isn't godzilla but just over grown lizard, u cant call monster of destruction godzilla, cause godzilla is protector of earth, but i am not saying its bad movie, but that it cant be called godzilla, same rule apply to any other godzilla version where hes not protector of earth, japan has versions where he is that so west didn't come up with that + the lore/legend about god... what i said before, reason ppl named it that and it was fitting name cause that's what he was, a protector/guardian

The "Titan that ate a star" wasn't Godzilla. Whoever it was, it was a Titan that PREDATED Godzilla. And many long-time Kaiju/Titan fans, myself included, are convinced this is evidence that SPACEGODZILLA will be joining the MonsterVerse in the near future.

In this film, it’s referring to Godzilla. Space Godzilla isn’t canon in the Monsterverse as WB doesn’t have the rights to use him.

People say Kong can't beat Godzilla in these movies but i disagree With the axe and the gauntlet he has in this movie, he can beat him... If he didn't want to drag him below then he would have won at that point, ground and pounded him to extinction It proves... Kong just needs to right weapons for the job Godzilla is more powerful and will generally win though, for sure
