Nah! They’ll probably make it a draw! It will probably be like when Marvel comic characters fight like Hulk and Wolverine. The fight will probably get interrupted by a bigger threat and they’ll probably team up. They’ll leave it open ended and ambiguous so people will be discussing it after the credits role. Maybe one of them will be fighting with a handicap like a wound caused by a human.

Whats funny to me is prior to this everyone was like how is Kong going to be any match for Godzilla just from what we've seen from Past movies, and ESPECIALLY the Comics like they make Big G OP AF killin Gods and nearly universe busting crazy, so A part of me is happy they showed Kong layin some hits but another part is like "BIG G stop playin around." Also I cant wait for them to team up give each other the respect nod and just Charge Mecha Godzilla Goku & Vegeta style haha

Absolutely great idea that does make perfect sense cause all these 4 Legendary Monsterverse movies could then be seen as prequels to the very first Pacific Rim, cause if i remember that movie was set in a distant future, and said how Kaiju started appearing all over the earth. Yep thats exactly he psychology of their marketing the movie. Build hype in the audience for the eventual loser, which in this case in Kong. The way i can tell Kong is going to ultimately loose is in context of the story Godzilla may go Fire Godzilla again and that would be it, Kong just could never withstand that. I really would prefer Kong tbh, but theres alot of rumor of MechaGodzilla coming into play in this movie; if they are doing that i just hope it's not like really silly, it has to have a level of plausibility and realism to it. But i just dont know how they would truly pull that off. If say it is that and Godzilla and Kong end up teaming up around the end to defeat Mecha its still gotta end with one victor. I'd prefer that to be Kong but licensing dictates it has to be Godzilla.

@@RaikenXion Unless They used Godzilla's license to build the universe and then keep Kong as the apex since they already own the property lol. But yeah. I'd prefer Kong to win that way we have the Apex of the land and the Apex of the oceans. Also that nuclear form is not like a SSJ transformation. He can't just access it whenever he wants he needed a nuke to activate it. But yeah at this point it's anything but confirmed that they're gonna team up for a mecha-godzilla level threat. either way I'll probably watch this thing over and over

​@@mrdeadlybootz5414 Thats what i meant by him going Fire Godzilla, all Godzilla would have to do is head to a specific point in the hollow earth or near the earth's core and he could absorb enough nuclear energy that way. I mean if he had ran out of options and needed to retreat, come back that way to defeat Kong. But yeh now that they've obviously revealed it in the trailer, can tell now the two will have to team up in the end to defeat MechaGodzilla, with Kong ultimately taking a fatal hit and dying from his injuries. Having Korey point that out and seeing that image now has really kind of spoiled it for me now. Cause i didnt really think they were actually going to do thatt, considering the mostly serious tone the other two movies had. I guess its true and the mainstream audience really did not like all the complete serious tone of the other two Godzilla movies.

@@RaikenXion True, but just like they gave that power up to Godzilla they could use the same logic and make Kong do the same thing to get his lightning powers back Like in the first fight and then that would cancel out. So either way I don't see that as a solid argument besides the fact that they could just do it because they're the writers. I totally feel you on that, that would've been such a dope surprise. But I'm not sure that Mecha-Godzilla is inherently not serious in tone. It depends on how they go about it. It would make sense that some humans would attempt that in order to have something that's both a weapon and an effigy that other monsters can look at and relate to in order to control them and put them back to sleep. But Godzilla ain't having none of that lol so them making Mecha-Godzilla could be dark and gritty, it just depends on the writer. We're just used to the goofy version that toho makes lol

This the last movie for Legendary's Monsterverse. Toho have basically used the American studio as free promotion to build new-found interest in their IP of Kaiju. Toho will wait for this Godzilla v Kong movie to come out then start pushing their Kaijuverse, starting with Godzilla Singular Point on Netflix.

If a giant monster fight ever goes down on this Earth, you know _damn_ well there's going to be people (at both a relatively and honestly dangerous af distance) live streaming the fight 🤣

That 98 Godzilla cartoon was by Jeff Kline. That man is a legend. He also did MIB the series, Jackie Chan Adventures, Jumanji, Extreme Ghostbusters and pretty much any good cartoons based on movies back then.

Truth be told that 1998 Godzilla wasn't bad at all... The story made sense... The CGI at that time was great...plus it was a cool looking redesign for Godzilla... the Jets look like they were realistically killing Godzilla at the end when he died.... People will just hate something just because it's not what they're used to, the same reason people are now mad that Kong is roughly 350 to 400 ft tall now....smh

If they are going to do Mechagodzilla he should be a fair bit bigger than them, and gis overall A.I. go out of control, to the point hes destroying everything. And it needs the both of them to take him down, but if they really doing that idea, better not be no funny business. It better feel like hes totally unstoppable and the two really struggle to take him down, and Kong ends up dying, but theres respect between the two.

@@dduval59 I just cant see Kong surviving this, they would need somekind of dramatises to be communicated and understood by the audience. I just dont think most fans would be satisfied if it ended where the two both survive and just go their separate ways. But that idea of ruling different hemispheres of the planet does make alot of sense. Maybe as they're both battling MechaShinGodzilla, Kong does something like uses all his strength in his arms and his axe weapon to wrap around and hold Mecha in place long enough for Godzilla to get his radioactive blast on Mecha, which in the end kills Kong too. And it leads a similar scene as the ending of Heat. Something that shows there is a pure intelligence and character, a soul in the two behemoths, so thats it's drummed home these are more than just huge colossal monsters, they re living beings. Just to like really ground all that silliness and carnage right at the end. The two Kaiju Icons kind of coming together in mutual respect.

Being in my late 20s and having seen so many of the OG Godzilla movies, including the original Godzilla vs. King Kong, I am so stocked for this one. Even though I have high hopes, I think I'll love or at least appreciate it regardless. Love ma boi Godzilla.

If I'm a betting man, I would wager that at some point during the movie, Godzilla is going to remember that right hook that Kong gave him, and make him sorry for it. So relish the fact that Kong landed a good hit, because Gojira has got one helluva receipt that he's going to give back at some point.

This played out like a Creed trailer or UFC promo lol. I love it.

I've only seen Kong: Skull Island but seeing this trailer makes me wanna watch the 2 Godzilla movies. I don't wanna miss out on any details that might be in GvsK. This movie looks fucking dope!

The other 2 Godzilla movies are ok to good, but Kong Island knew when to let the monsters have the stage instead of shaky cuts to humans.

The music was perfect for this trailer.

I love the CyberPunk music.

In the last film, Godzilla was melting buildings as he walked by them. Such an awesome scene. Team Godzilla

I think in the end of the movie they will both end up fighting Mechagodzilla because I mean of course they’re going to have a round two

I love the balance between serious and silly. It encapsulates the Japanese Godzilla movies that plays everything (mostly) straight.

SO HYPED FOR THIS MOVIE! Enjoyed Godzilla 2014, LOVED Skull Island and King of the Monsters. Now the reason I think the Godzilla we see is not Mechagodzilla because there's a shot where Kong brings both his fists down on Godzilla and Godzilla bleeds. I just think Godzilla is pissed at humanity because we built Mechagodzilla not to mention the eco terrorists have Ghidorah's head. Like you I definitely want the series to continue. Regardless what else can I say but SHEEEEEEEEEET!

Had a lot of fun with this reaction than Angry Joe's, who was whining about it and nitpicking the story choices (including Kong being heroic ignoring Kong as always been a hero in all movies) obnoxiously booing the small girl sideplot, the mystery plot on Godzilla's attack and his complaint about the music not being majestic, yeah he's THAT kind of overhyped fanboy.. And yeah taking into consideration the box office earnings of the last one, people will really need to all see this one including the limited theater releases in order to keep this franchise going and doubt it might happen since streaming isn't bringing as much money as a nationwide theater opening weekend.

Angry Joe just reacts the way popular opinion goes. There is nothing genuine about him - he sees majority of fans want Godzilla to win, and that is the way he will present his opinion. He has no real thoughts on anything beyond what is trending on the social media sites.

@@ericng7015 The monsters are always the main thing for me in these movies anyway, im just seeing this often now rappers turning up in different movies and no one ever remembers thier roles on film. Just like that rapper in the monster hunter movie.

I'd lose my shit if they pulled an old school Godzilla cartoon move and gave him laser vision as well. Kong thinks he's got the Atomic Breath handled and boom laser vision

I’m guessing Godzilla and Kong will fight it but, there will be a bigger threat that appears, resulting in a Godzilla and Kong team up. Maybe Mecha King Gidorah?

And after that he'll go to hollow earth and will find the axe. But in the end they'll team up against Mecha Godzilla and for the end credit they'll dance together on the Jamiroquai song :)
