Godzilla needs to be the main star, I hope that Adam Wingard brings Godzilla's origins and ancestry. Kong being the main Titan in Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire considering the main antagonist was an evil version of Kong in Skar King but its Godzilla's time to reestablish himself as the King of the Monsters. As far as next Monster, I think Space Godzilla could be good with Biollante also showing up but to help Godzilla against the Extraterrestrial threat.

I'm a fan,I collect but not like you lot,it has changed a lot and not for the good. For it to continue and be great Godzilla should die. Nothing hypocritical about that. It's too clear how they rewrite it based off of fans complaining. You need to grow up.

Legendary, who created these movies, just parted ways with Adam Wingard the other day. They've hired a new writer for the next movie, and will be selecting a new director. It appears they may be striving for a filming start time of this fall, with a release being sometime in 2026.

What about Mecha Ghidorah? The second movie ends with those Eco Terrorist guys getting their hands on one of Ghidorah's heads. I know there was a Ghidorah Skull in G-vs-K But it was never mentioned how Apex got that skull, nor what happened to it after the movie. I believe this villain needs screen time

I haven’t watched since King of the Monsters, mainly because I really really like the Shōwa Godzilla and Heisei Godzilla. When I think of this video about new creatures from space, Destroyah and the entire plot of GvD was heart wrenching. The worst case scenario was that Destroyah would end life on Earth with ease, and with Godzilla’s situation already present in that movie, even the possibility of destroying Destroyah still left that nuclear catastrophe crisis. If this is a film verse, there are so many monsters, and even fights to go through between monsters, allies to make and pacts to break.

I think it'd be too early to introduce Destroyah, however Biolantte would be a great pick for the 3rd Godzilla movie! >:3

I think the next movie should focus on ghidorahs origins. Maybe this could result in an alien kaiju like gigan. Considering gigan has a connection with ghidorah. This could give us the answer on which planet ghidorah came from.

It’s great that they’ll be focusing on Godzilla again, he’s the main attraction towards the franchise. Using Destroyah in the third film seems like a cheap tactic with so many unused titans and potential enemies that placing the final boss in the third one shortly after Ghidora and Kong hogging the spotlight seems rather tacky 😅

Destoroyah is way too early to show up besides SpaceGodzilla and Biollante should be next another thing the cave painting shows a flying Godzilla the only Godzilla ik that Flys is SpaceGodzilla but if it not him then idk who it is all we know is Godzilla Cannot Fly well he doesn't have Wings Basically

That's not even including the extended media, where Destoroyah has lost to Anguirus, Biollante, and Kiryu in the Godzilla comics, so he's not that strong honestly. I don't really get the hype surrounding him. Also, SpaceGodzilla was "teased multiple times"? When? If you mean "the monster that ate a star", that statement is like any legend and myth which is exaggeration that stems from reality. That "monster" was also said to be Godzilla and aside from that, I don't see anything that speculates SpaceGodzilla's existence in the MonsterVerse (that monster in the cave painting also looks nothing like SpaceGodzilla so it can't be him) I'm not really a fan of Toho kaiju being added to the MonsterVerse, but Hedorah or Megalon (even if Legendary can't pay for them) would be perfect picks imo

Agreed....he should have been introduced in Destroy all Monsters as the all powerful Space monster taht Godzilla and the other monsters tag team up with.... like in the original movie. Hollywood with all the money do not get Monster movies... in movies in my opinion..what made those old Monster movies... were the scores they were epic..and each star monster had their own theme music. Akira Ifukube was a legend. Too much CGI...bland scores and Godzilla does. not move the way they made him move in Godzilla vs Kong X

Make it grounded again like the 2014 version and draw some inspiration from "Minus One" and introduce Space Godzilla and Godzilla Jr (or Godzukie if anyone remembers the Hannah Barberra Cartoon from way back when). Id like to be introduced to Anguirus. Maybe in the next Kong film they can introduce us to King Caesar... King Kong vs King Caesar... I dont know, just an idea

Uh, you can't do that. There was 1 movie grounded and that was 2014. Every single movie since then has been dripping with fantastical lore. Even Kong itself was dripping with it. You remove all that and you lose the trip that it is. If you want a 'realistic' because 'I'm edgy' movie, go back to Cloverfield types.

@@Nurhaal you don't lose anything actually, because it is all one universe. We know about the hollow earth now. We've already explored it. In the MCU, if you have a grounded film that wins an Oscar, what do you lose? Nothing, because it is still apart that universe. There are subtle references to that universe and what is going on inside that universe, but it is not taking away from the film that you are watching. Because, it apart of that universe, in this case the Monsterverse, we already know the backstory. We know where Kong is. We see the repercussions of the fights that happened in previous films. So, you literally lose nothing by taking a more grounded approach to a Godzilla film. Film being grounded l, doesn't mean you're taking away everything that happened beforehand.

Hollywood Godzilla Prequel Script (joke) - Godzilla was born as a gender neutral organism that was oppressed by the white clouds because it thought their shapes were offensive but then a local girl with her strong women senses sensed its oppression and blessed it to oppress its oppressors, while a men in the village saw told it to everyone else in the village and the village decided to capture the monster, but they are not evil because they were going to use it against evil rich patriarchal king who oppressed people because all rich people are evil except the once that agree with your politics (Holloywood logic shut up and accept it because you don't have a film degree) but during the raid the girl dies because she was too strong and too women to live and Godzilla escapes in the seas to come back to fight the king one so the next day he comes back to fight the king who had not idea wtf was happening and destroyed his kingdom. Godzilla went on a rampage and the day ended with the king finally learning he can nolonger oppress his people with an iron fist unless he rebrands himself as a communist leader, so he does and the people celebrated that the monarchical system doesn't exists while they were thrown in the Gulag by their celebrated no elected leader and Godzilla forgot why he came onland and so went back to continue watching the cloud and calling their fascists! Suddenly people believe we will get good stories? G1 Fords family = useless in the story, Should have been Ford, Dad, and Serizowa, But nope. G2 Eco Terrorist = get rid of mom and daughter and just give me the dad and big daddy Lannister. Kong - the story of the two pilots was the story glad they just blew past that and gave us a poor version of Moby Dick. G & K vs Mecka G - the bad guys were the bad guys because that is what the writers needed you to believe but their motivation was actually to save mankind.... so how are they the bad guys? The daughter needed a spanking not death. Get rid of the pod caster, the girl and the "body positive" nerd driving around trying to figure it all out. New Empire - come on that should have just been a Kong movie. Evil Monkey could not beat Ghedora and Ghedora could not bet Godzilla. Kong could have done evil monkey in alone. No the Legendary universe writing needs serious improvement.
