One detail I saw from a gif on Twitter. Right before Godzilla fires his atomic breath, you can actually see Scylla try to shank Godzilla with her leg, only for Godzilla to grab it and stab herself with it, instead.

There's multiple cool kaijus in the monsterverse at the moment, and there'll no doubt be more to come in the future. Though I am also sad that scylla and tiamat had to die, and I hope that they manage to come back to life in some way in the future.

Shimo's case'd be even more dangerous with no Mothra/Kong. Even without Scylla, & Tiamat as sacrifical lambs, Godzilla would've swiftly handle the ordeal provide Mothra and Kong are there to help. Same thing happened with muto. When Godzilla released his atomic breath into muto's mouth, she died in that exact moment due to the heat but her head came off afterwards :)

The way Godzilla jumped on two legs and get that much air was epically terrifying! I seen him jump on all fours, but doing on 2 legs just shows how scary athletic he can be. Can’t wait to see y’all talk about him vs Tiamat and I loved this movie.🙂

Same here. Watched it in a 3D IMAX with my buddy and his older brother. That entire theater cracked up in laughter when Kong used Suko as a nunchuck. And yes, all three of us loved it

I was kind of hoping Scylla would have exited her shell to make a quick getaway. Kind of sad to see her die the way she did but she did defy the King.

While it is a shame to see Scylla die, I do have to admit that the death was pretty awesome!

basically Tiamat couldnt be controlled and still had an abundance of energy and godzilla didnt feel bad about killing her because at that point she had used up all her chances to go under his rule but refused to. Now her death serves as a stepping stone to power up Goji

In that regard, GxK actually showed Godzilla as an alpha. As well as resolving his prior beefs with deviants, i'd give them a pass for another lines of toys, the redesign is tied into worldbuilding.

Scylla's actually lucky because Godzilla actually gave her a second chance. He could've finished her in Dominion especially after she was causing trouble and attacked him. Tiamat, understandably, was not given that second chance. It also explains why Godzilla was ready to throw hands with Kong again. Granted he was getting carried away, but Gman was really getting fed up of other Kaiju not respecting boundaries.

If we're looking from Godzilla's perspective, his intention on "knocking at Tiamat's door" might be just to intimidate her, to make her run away, in which unfortunately failed. Godzilla was in a rush to evolve, probably thought "I don't have time for your shit", decided to end her.

I love the style of your videos, which is why I've been subscribed since the inception of this channel, however, sometimes it's so challenging having to wait a week or more to hear you thoughts. I know, from the Beast Hub Podcast, you don't want to show your face and that's perfectly fine. These could be casual voice over videos with your thoughts.

Skar King Was nerfed by toho because they were afraid he would be too popular. Two years ago he was bigger than godzilla and kong and was sitting on his throne (dwarfing the throne) with godzilla and kongs skulls. He had glowing eyes (which they dont use or explain) and MASSIVE arms. When Toho got more involved they nerfed him down and FORCED legendary to add Shimo (an old toho anguirus design) to weaken scarking and his influence (It did not work people LOVE the Skar King even still). He had agility, intelligence, style, uncanny valley vibes, and good motivations. Toho forced Legendary to make Godzilla into Galactus from marvel. Not only did they nerf Skar King by doing this, they nerfed tiamat, scilla, and ANY AMERICAN MADE TITAN and it was obvious. They wouldnt even let kong get electrical powers. At this point godzilla is so strong why even bring in Space godzilla OR Destroya? Hes just gonna kill them both in one shot.

To be fair Godzilla did get his ass beat by the MUTOs, MUTO Prime, Ghidorah, Kong, Mechagodzilla, Tiamut so I can see why Toei would be sick of watching the unstoppable force that is meant to be Godzilla be stopped so easily and so often
