Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin P90 [It's a boss, alright!]

For a single-pickup archtop, Godin's 5th Avenue Kingpin P90 has a few surprises up its sleeve. When you see a full-size hollow body archtop with a neck pickup and a floating bridge, you're probably already hearing some mellow-toned jazz lines. This Kingpin, however, is packing brass knuckles. It can deliver a sweet traditional jazz tone, but it can also get nasty, swampy, and brawl in the back alley. The first time you hear that P90 heat up an amp, you're going to want to take it for a ride.
We've been big fans of Godin guitars for years, but those Canadians are packing more value into today's line than ever before. These are high-quality North American-made guitars at prices that'll knock your socks off.
This guitar would be a great choice for blues, rockabilly, Americana, or bottleneck slide in any style. Or jazz. It works swell for that, too.

Thank You! Had a kind of wistful smile on while you were playing. Been a loooong time since I've heard that tune performed in a laid back way like that..both jazzy and bluegrass at the same time. Bravo buddy. Great job :) !! P90's rock!

Thanks for the great post Sir. Wonderful playing on a fantastic guitar. I own the 5th Ave Kingpin ii & ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Unfortunately for my wallet, I’m now looking at buying another Godin. They make criminally underrated instruments that, to me, easily compete with and even surpass he quality of many of the BIG BRAND companies. Cheers 👍👍

😏😏Triste monde !!!! 😭😭
