I can't speak for Inanna but your Aphrodite struck me very strongly, an instinctive almost genetic recognition of a great but subtle beauty. About ten years ago I was standing in the aisle of a Vaporetto in Venice waiting to disembark while the water bus rocked from side to side. Just as I approached the middle and was about to turn and climb up unto the dock, I saw a woman waiting her turn just behind the man in the opposite aisle. She was your Aphrodite, and I just stood there frozen, holding up the line until the conductor startled me back to life with a loud "faccia attenzione signore", and a knowing smile. Her name was Valentina, but she was your Aphrodite. On the same trip I saw a man who looked like your Caesar, sitting at an outdoor bar in Rome. The ancients are still with us, you only need to look.

@@panagiotisconstantinou I understand. It's that you are especially good with Greek subjects, it's like breathing life into legendary historical figures. Well, looking forward to your next project so far, it's all been very interesting stuff. Maybe more Egyptian subject matter, although, the racists from both sides will surely come at you in an unpleasant manner. Maybe try the Norse subject matter, although it would require using more recent statuary given the Vikings weren't really into creating realistic statuary. This particular video has made clear an interesting truth, very few peoples of the Ancient and Medieval periods were actually capable of creating really accurate statuary of human beings. It's possible in ancient China, India, but it's mostly an Ancient Egyptian/European tradition, with occasional good Mesopotamian works, like the head of Sargon of Akkad, the Neo Assyrian Empire statuary. Sadly, you may soon run out of Ancient world subject matter, outside of controversial Ancient Egypt and Roman stuff, or dangerous for you Greek stuff. It's a shame that these evil folk have discouraged you from Greek subjects, as you have gift recreating them, your Greek Philosophers and Cleopatra seemed prepared to speak to the viewer they seemed so lifelike. The 1st Cleopatra rendition was the 1st that could take her sort of face and recreate it into quite a beautiful woman, Greek style, with the strong cheekbones and beautiful long nose. Good luck with your next project.

Great work. I've seen a lot of Mexican girls who looked like Inanna, LOL. The first Aphrodite, however, I noticed you straightened her hair when the statue indicated wavy/curly hair. Minoan frescos show that generally the women had long, black curly hair. I think that ancient Greeks tended to favor wavy/curly hair compared to the Romans who had straighter hair. That's the only change I would suggest.

Also, the ancients seem to visualize Aphrodite as fair, with Blonde hair and blue eyes not that different from Freya of the Norse tradition. That is interesting. The video is terrific! But do not get me wrong, almost every reconstructor does the very same mistake every time when the video of such genre is created: You give ladies too heavy and prominent jawlines!!! Look at the ancient and Renessaince works of art and at the modern magazines. Look closely and You will see a tiny detail which is hard to notice if You are not prepared, but it is of utmost importance! Look at the jawline! The ancent type of face is soft and there is a very smooth line from the jaw angle to the neck (nowadays this feature is easy to find among Slavic people), while the modern face has more angles, it is more "square" like. In case if You just wanted to make a modern looking version of Aphrodite - that is alright. But if You wanted to reconstruct - then the models should be remade, a bit with more attention to the jawline.

Your live animations are so beautiful! I felt an instinctive connection to Inanna/Astarte/Ishtar, especially to the big almond eyes and lush face. I can see pieces of myself and a lot of ethnicities from the ancient Near East and today in her face. She seems like such a "global" womanly figure.

Very cool to see the transitions, not sure why this appeared in my YT recommendations but im glad it did. Hearing Michael McCann was a pleasant surprise too, though I would definitely think about crediting him and the track you used ("Icarus Main Theme" for anyone interested in looking it up) in the video description as a courtesy, given that it's only available to purchase or stream. But otherwise very cool video.
