💰 GoDaddy vs Hostinger - Plans and Pricing!
You can't beat Hostinger when it comes to cheap plans. You can nab a builder plan for less than $3 a month. This includes 100GB of SSD storage space, unlimited bandwidth, a free domain name, weekly backups, and the ability to host up to 100 sites! That's the thing I love about Hostinger, it's not restrictive, so I feel like I'm buying a tool that can be used 100 times.
GoDaddy takes a different approach to pricing and offers a free plan. Not a trial, but a full-on plan with a subdomain name. Of course, this option can't be used for eCommerce or online shops and it lacks more advanced features. Premium starts from $11 a month, so 4 times as much as Hostinger asks… However, your storage space and bandwidth are completely unmetered here. And the reason GoDaddy allows this is because these plans are for just one single website. Another omission is the domain name. Now granted, it's just $10, but I'd rather have an extra 10 than a minus 10, right?

⚙️ GoDaddy vs Hostinger - Editing your design!
Both builders are small yet optimized tools focused mostly on beginners. The standout aspect of Hostinger is its full drag-and-drop system, making it easy to customize your site, and have more control of its structure. Simply pick elements from the sidebar and drop them onto your design, you can create something that looks basic like this, or as weird as this. However, the limitation here is the elements. You'll find around 10 different things to add, but there aren't any interesting elements, like progress bars, sliders, or pricing tables. It can feel a bit restrictive at times, but I think limitations help beginners not to feel lost or discouraged.
Now, GoDaddy's website builder is even more limited. There's no sidebar for elements and no drag-and-drop controls - you can only add things in predefined places. There are basic customization options for styles and fonts, but managing them isn't very intuitive. GoDaddy does offer a good selection of individual sections, from social links to product displays. They allow you to create a more interesting website with a pricing list, restaurant menu, or PDF viewers. To sum everything up editing-wise, both are really easy-to-use tools if you want to build a simple yet modern website…

Let's also quickly check the technical side of these builders. Currently, the average loading time for modern websites hovers around 7 seconds, but Google recommends under 2.5 seconds for optimal SEO. From my experience, anything under 3 seconds is exceptional for website builders. While I couldn't test the exact same website due to the differences between providers, I made sure to create similar sites for comparison. GoDaddy's website builder impressed me with its speed, loading my site in just 1.3 seconds. But then came Hostinger, which loaded in an astonishingly quick 1 second! Well, even with a small difference, that's great results from both providers.
