Their song “burn the ships” found me randomly on my music feed at a very hard time when I was contemplating suicide. I then walked into a little church and a beautiful amazing woman sat next to me. We sang hymns ,listened to a great sermon and two years later we are now together. I got clean, now I work with horses and read the gospel every night

Read you Bible and 🙏 pray!! I was a half- hearted Christian, but he showed me the error of my ways. I was on a trip with a friend and had an amazing experience. August 1, 2021, at Rocky Mountain Calvary in Colorado. It was hard to face my sins, but it has been an amazing journey !! I struggle to be a better person, and I really struggle with forgiveness. God's word will show you the way. I will be praying for you, be strong, stand tall, and believe 🙏 . You will find him. God bless!

The fact that you said you're seeking the Lord means that you will find Him. As a matter of fact, He's with you (us), and I pray when He answers, you'll know and be accepting to His voice.

After watching half of this interview my wife and I decided to go to this movie. Man, so very glad we did! The film was a good story, not preachy, and highlighted the challenges and power of moms, dads, kids, friends and family. I’m normally not moved by a show too much, but this one really hit the mark! Great job Smallbones!

I'm not a big fan of their music (simply not my style) however these dudes have been blessed with talent, clearly. Their work has touched people, undoubtedly. And Rebecca St. James was my childhood role model. God has used them all.

I saw the movie on Wednesday at a pre-showing. It WRECKED me in the most beautiful way. Way to go, For King and Country. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Just saw it with my 15 year old son. He is a huge For King and Countey fan, I was a huge fan of Rebecca St. James back in the day. We both loved the movie! You know a movie is good when the audience claps and cheers at the end. Bring tissue though - we both cried through the whole thing!

We saw it last night; GREAT movie!! Let’s celebrate family the way God intended, to work through hardships together and still remain committed and loving at the end of each day!!

Hands down best concert I have ever been to. They played a small place in Punta Gorda in Fla. I’ve seen, BB King, Willie Nelson, Garth, Reba and Jimmy Buffet all were great concerts but none of those greats touched the performance they gave.

Love this video! My parents have given up alot financially to have me and my ten siblings. I can tell you unequivocally, family is a blessing. We're not the richest people in money, but we are sooo blessed. Also, my brother saw for King and Country at Liberty University and they were AMAZING!

Love, love, love this band! Plan to go see the movie on Tuesday! Thank you Michael for having them on your show!

O. MY. GOODNESSS!! I was just in leaving the theater after watching Unsung Hero and this popped up on my fyp! This made my night! Ahh Michael, Joel, and Luke!!?!?! This was an amazing episode! And most definitely recommend watching Unsung Hero!

I'm a fan. This is an amazing family!! Their song " Burn the ship" was amazing, their Christmas music is fantastic! I went to their concert about a year ago and it was the best concert I've ever been to.

My respect for the Smallbones have just launched into the stratosphere. I remember listening to Rebecca St. James in the 90s and then these gentleman many years later. After watching their movie and hearing this interview, all I can say is wow. Praise God for stories like theirs.

Having worked with and around these gentlemen and their sister for over 20 years in the festival world I can tell you they're the real deal!!❤️😎

Yes ! Skillet, switchfoot and for king and country are my últimamente favorite bands!

So cool to see you interview these guys. Of all the rot that exists in Christian music these guys are some of the good ones. I volunteered as stage crew at concert they performed at. They treated us so well and would speak to us nobodies when they came off stage before other stars and performers. I hope they have all the success in the world.

Watched it and loved it! Though maybe not as theologically thought-provoking as Jesus Revolution, it did show the power of a praying family and how a Godly man really makes it through trials... By his family! The nice nod at Burn the Ships was really emotionally rewarding as well!

Exactly just like during the Great depression we need to watch movies that inspire us to be better people better Christians and more helpful to our families and those around us, we haven't gotten that from Hollywood at least the last 10 to 15 years (with a few exceptions but mostly only the alternative Hollywood movies have been inspiring or thought-provoking or moving)

If you have never attended For King and country concert, you must! They're the best concert I've been to. Went to the Christmas show in 2017. It was amazing. They have so many drums. Looking forward to the movie.

They are also the sweetest people ever. A friend of mine helped out some of their concerts and her mom got to go back to age and talked to Joel & Luke and she told them that her daughter was graduating high school. They sent her a huge beautiful graduation package with the note and card it was so sweet. She still has what they sent her and she still talks about it to this day.

God bless these two boys for all their hard work. Michael, what a great guest to have on your show. God bless you as well. We need more of this in society.

I saw For King and Country in KC Missouri Christmas 2022 with my grandchildren. I have to admit at my age it was kibd of loud. I took out my hearing aids, put kleenex in my ears and enjoy the concert so much.
