I don't use a cell phone, and my pc has no mic or camera. I have zero social media presence. I use youtube (not premium) to watch stuff and sometimes comment. The people who find this out think I'm crazy - "How can you do anything without a cell phone?!?" The answer is simple: I can do whatever I want. And my brain isn't being rotted. AND I don't have the sheer distraction of carrying a damned phone everywhere. It's nice. Everyone should do it. 😊

The first time I realized it was right after the news about Kyle Rittenhouse came out. I saw the video of him shooting those guys on the news, and my first immediate question was "Why were those guys chasing him?". It was clear to me we were only getting the very end of some interaction, and that it very well could have been self defense seeing how he was the one running, and he was out numbered. So my husband got on our computer and was looking stuff up (Idk what browser) and he found info showing why Kyle was there that night, and a video of him from earlier on in the night giving a lot of context. And I'm realizing that there's more to this story. So I get on Google to try to get more info, and every single result was showing the incedent in a negative light towards Kyle. Every single one. Not even a neutral article. The entire first page of results was dedicated to making people hate Kyle. I believe it was a day later I heard that the guy who started the riots in Kenosha (some criminal) had raised a crap ton of money on Gofundme. And i was shocked by that. And I wondered if Kyle had one as well. So I go to the site, and there's nothing there. I was confused and so I go back to the search results and I see an article saying that there WAS a fundraiser for Kyle on that site, that had raised over $50,000 for his legal defense, but that the company removed it!!!! It further more states that another fundraiser on a different site had been made in its place, but then it had also been removed. So it was these experiences that made me wake up and realize how unbelievablly biased Google is. Along with other companies of course.

People need to realize that there are plenty of options to avoid Google. Alternative email clients, search engines, video platforms, phones, operating systems, calendars... all of it can be easily replaced.

The problem is -- as they addressed in the video -- that no other search engine platform can _compare_ to Google in accuracy, which means they're useless. I DO use an alternative email provider, I don't use an Android, no Google calendar, etc... BUT, when I tried using DuckDuckGo and others for _months,_ the results were minimal and often not what I needed. And I _need_ to be able to look up accurate information for my _job._ So do most people these days. And consistently, my husband would ask me to Google something, I'd DuckDuckGo it and not get very many results or unsatisfactory results (like for things as simple as "restaurants in X city"), and then he would Google it, and get 10X the information in half the time. So for those of us who NEED a good search engine with access to everything on the internet, nothing BUT Google works well enough yet. Not to mention all the companies -- especially small businesses -- that rely on Google for their leads. Even if a lot of principled businesses stopped using Google, it wouldn't stop Google. Google would just recommend the companies that chose to STAY, and the good peoples' companies would die. So I think the solution in the video is the only good one -- we have to force Google to change. What are your thoughts on that?

Doesn't mean it's false. This guy did a similar sit-down interview on Tim Pool's channel. A long time ago. It was part of his "The Culture War" series. I was trying to find it the other day and discovered that Google has made that video impossible to find by accident. I would type "Tim Pool Robert Epstein Google" in the search bar. Wouldn't come up. The only reason I knew this video existed is because I'm a subscriber and I saw it when it premiered. So I knew where to find it. I went and found it and then I typed the title of that video word-for-word in the search box and it STILL didn't come up. The only way I can watch that video is going to Pool's channel, going to the playlists tab, select "The Culture War" and then I have to scroll down the list of episodes until I find the one with Dr. Epstein. They do meddle with your information to the best of their legal ability. If you think that's far fetched or tinfoil hat-like, I don't know what to tell you.

It is now the 14th, and it just came up in my feed.

I'm still a few years from voting age. But I have gotten a lot of influence on my beliefs from my parents, and I am SO grateful. They are former Republicans, now Independents, and their intense dislike for partisan politics has made me a person who is very critical. I tend to lean more conservative because of my religious beliefs, but in my family we talk a lot together about stuff. Maybe a conversation will be sparked by something online, but I think the importance of having real-life conversations with people is a fantastic way to protect yourself against that sort of outside influence. Different people are getting fed different information, and if we come together we can use what we know to discern truth and reason.

If anyone's interested, there's a British band called UNIT that released a whole album inspired by and dedicated to Prageru, TPUSA and The Daily Wire. I discovered their You Tube channel a couple of years ago and most of their stuff is excellent. I'm not an agent for the band nor do I know any of them but, to judge from their lyrics, they seem genuine. I found them by typing UNIT Andy Martin The Voice Of Reason into YT which did the trick. They have the entire album as a playlist. One of their tracks features the mighty Ben Shapiro, a couple of later pieces feature Matt Walsh and they do a cracking version of Columbia Gem Of The Ocean, too! PS No, I am not the singer’s dad nor am I their manager or related in any way to the group!

This could be a totally unrelated thing, but I have my suspicions. I used to watch Michael every day. Each 40-45 minute video, each 15-20 minute video. Then, I started talking about watching the channel to people and how Michael Knowles is my favorite Daily Wire host, and suddenly, give two or three days, and I haven't had a single recommendation for this channel in the past couple of weeks. Coincidence? Possible. However, coincidences compounded normally point towards a deeper truth.

It's not that Google's database should be a public commons, our data should be protected at the level of the Constitution. There should be a digital rights act making our data sovereign to the individual. TOS agreements should not be able to supersede our Constitutional rights to privacy.

The whole concept of inalienable rights refers to rights which cannot legitimately be taken or given away. An individual simply does not have the authority to give away his own responsibility.

Google at time of founding: "Do no Evil", they promised. And literally delivered the exact opposite.

Google has made the former USSR's subterfuge, mind control and spying look anachronistic and full of melancholy for the days when everyone knew what was going on.

We can't afford to purchase all of the books and other items that I would need to give him the in-depth education I would love to give him unless they do this. That's why when I registered to vote during the last election, I checked "Independent", even though my vote is always Republican. I had started seeing all kinds of bias on various websites that claimed to break down the policies of all of the candidates - but oddly enough, not one single Republican candidate was represented. Under the Republican candidate names, it always said "Failed to provide information" or something like that. If will be a miracle if Trump wins this election. And if he loses, it will be the downfall of Western Civilization as we know it.

How would you enforce such laws even if you had them? The constitution itself prohibits most if not all of what they are doing and We the People are not enforcing the constitution.

This is a huge issue. People need to be aware at all times that they are being manipulated while online.

True story; in a small town in Minnesota which is basically all Republicans they signed a oath to vote republican in 2016 and in the county tally they were recorded as voting entirely democratic. This problem is much deeper than we feared.

It's called a brain friend! I can make it think DESPITE what tools I'm using . I'm also a psychologist, a good one it seems (top of my class and the best they ever had - according to the head of the department). I use those devices against their own manipulation practices. Remember: when someone throws a brick at you and misses you now have a brick to throw back! You can make them miss. That's the point. It's no coincidence that I'm actually a contrarian vs all of their core beliefs and agendas. Serves me well so far.

No joke...when he started talking about the owner of youtube in that meeting my phone disconnected from casting to my tv and then told me that the video could not be casted and there was an error. I had to go out and back in and then it worked. But he was literally saying "the owner of youtube said in a meeting"...and then the video cut off...😑

I am watching this video and every 3 or 5 minutes the volume goes down and I have to keep raising the volume. I have bad hearing. Thank you, whoever you are , for reminding me that I have little control over my own phone.

So, for all of you parents out there who pulled your kids at a public school and our homeschooling but you’re using Google classroom to manager your kids, homeschool curriculum, you may want to rethink that approach. And for all you conservatives who wanted Jim Jordan, as speaker of the house, go back and look how he voted to keep section 230 protection for big tech. Jordan was the last vote and he had an opportunity to end this monopoly and he sided with big Tech and the corporations.

I have so much respect for this guy.

If they can censor, delete, change... they have established ownership of materials posted by all on a given platform when censorship of any kind occurs. They claim ownership when allowing items to be posted and for that matter when they do not allow a post.

Legit several pages of the same biased info, seemingly regurgitated repeatedly with tweaks in headlines.
