One interpretation I read was that the male form absorbs energy, the female form directs it outward as kinetic blasts

I think they build up kinetic force every time they shift and then that energy is stored and can be released whenever. I mean would make sense since, scientifically, shifting your entire body would take A LOT of energy and that energy has to go somewhere. So it being turned into kinetic energy and then it releasing whenever to either be used offensively or defensively is my guess

Also, Jordan's male form is their defensive go to, while the female form is what they transform to for going on the offensive. Shit is actually clutch to watch the subtle differences between the two

The really interesting part of Marie's character is that cutting herself, is part of her power, but she also does it as a form of self harm. Particularly during the scene after she gets expelled when she's crying. She's doing that to punish herself.

This series is so good, it’s basically like Sky High but except it’s targeted for young adults with superpowers.

Jordan Li's power is basically pretty cool. Male Jordan Li's power is basically formidably indestructible and energy absorbing. Female Jordan Li's power is increased agility and unleashing all the energy absorbed and redirect it outward. So if you noticed, Male Jordan is always take hits so he can absorb as much energy from the opponents and then changing to Female Jordan to emit all the energy.

I honestly enjoyed it a little more than the Boys but that’s because it’s more directed towards my age group.

Jordan’s powers are different depending on the form they take. Male Jordan: Super strong, indestructible, immune to pretty much everything, every time he’s hit he absorbs the force, basically a wall/immovable object Female Jordan: the energy blasts are the force from any hits taken as Male Jordan converted into energy. She’s also super fast and agile.

Blood manipulation is the best power too have. EVERYONE HAS BLOOD, she just uses her own.

Also Goldenboy was being amplified by his brothers (blood I think?). Without this, Jordan is unmistakably stronger than Goldenboy. Maybe not as strong as Sam since Sam is much stronger then Luke, but the fact that Jordan was able to hold theyre own against Goldboy while he had those advantages means Jordan is probably stronger then a non-amplified Luke, and probably number 1 in the school.

Marie name is similar to Rogue who also discovers her powers around the age of puberty. This Marie when she blossoms into a woman and Rogue/Marie when she kisses her first boyfriend. In the comics this school is only for the G-men a parody on the X-men. Here in the show the school includes a wider arrangement of supes. At the same time marie moreau name is similar to ororo munroe otherwise known as storm from X-men.

Gen V is amazing ngl personally so far I’m actually enjoying it more than the boys rn especially when you know who shows up in later episodes😂 even if it’s short
