God’s name is not Yahweh - Proof from Jewish Rabbis

Is there a conspiracy among Jewish Rabbis to conceal the name? There are newly found sources that prove Rabbis have known the name for centuries. Is Yahweh the real name of God?
Michael Rood and Nehemia Gordon research a newly found source that proves the name of God is Yehovah. We have written proof from 16 Rabbis that the vowels missing from the name of God are Yod Hey Vav Hey. We were never supposed to find these lost letters, notes, and sources but Yehovah has made a way. Discover the real name of our Adonai.
Also, Kevin Fisher shares the real location of Noah’s Ark. Lab tests, archaeological artifacts, and radar testing have now proven the actual location is not Mount Ararat. There are anchor stones, cave drawing, and headstones that are close by to the real location. Journey with us as we learn more about the Flood that destroyed the world and the name rediscovered.

Everyone has confused me, so I pray to:"My Holy Father creator of all there is...". As He knows our hearts and souls (psalm 139) I hope He knows I am talking to Him in Yahusha's name.

Different names like Yahuah, Yehovah, Yahweh, Yahuwah, etc flooded my simple mind as the true name of the creator. I am totally confused what to accept or ignore as the true name of our creator. What confused me more is : God said to Moses, " I am that I am" as his name. My humble questions are: 1. I am that I am/I am who I am. Can this be a name of our creator? It doesn't sound like a name, rather, it sounds like a description. 2. How do get YHWH from "Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh?" My heart is dried up and thirst for the true name of my God. I humbly pray for your help...🙏

In my mother-tongue Malayalam (Kerala, India) GOD's name is written as 'യഹോവ' (YAHOVA) (as Nehemia Gordon says it is). If the rabbis were hiding this information up until now, how come it is there in our Bible? All Indian languages have this name correct. I think the westerners just ignored and hid it for some reason.

The Indian Malayalam Bible transliterated and translated the Old and New Testaments from the Original Hebrew Bible manuscripts available from the Patriarchs of Antioch who were the heads of the Malabar and Kerala churches. The liturgy of Church services was in Syriac, a form of Aramaic spoken in Antioch. Also through the painstaking diligent efforts of German Swiss Missionaries from the Basel Mission Switzerland, the original Syriac Bible with Hebrew Names Original pronunciation were translated into the local Malayalam Language . Hermann Guenthard also created the first Malayalam Dictionary. This is why therefore all the names of all the Biblical persons are having their correct pronunciation in the Malayalam Bible. Jesus is called Yeshu, YHWH is Yehovah, all Jewish names like Yacob, Yehudah, Shalomon, Yitzak, etc and all Greek names like Paulos, Petros, Lukos etc are with the proper original Hebrew and Greek pronunciation. Hence it is better to follow the Malayalam Bible to get the correct pronunciation.

I'm interested to know what you think of the lost tribes of Israel. For example what do you think of the Igbo tribe or the Lemba tribe in Africa who actually had their dna tested and verified that they are in fact the direct descendants of Aaron. Or about the many Africans with hebrew names that were sold in the Atlantic slave trade. You've always been my favorite teacher and i'm confident that you'll do honest research and report it to the people. Shalom.

According to Jeremiah 3:19, God said, you shall call me my father and not turn away from me. Jeremiah 3:4, says will you not from this time cry to me, my father you are the guide of my youth. When Jesus Christ was on the cross, he said I thirst, because the spirit of God who is the fountain of living waters which was in him had left him, then he cried out and said my God my God why have you forsaken me, then in Luke 23:46, Jesus Christ said, father into your hands I commit my spirit, having said this, he breathed his last. So, God is to be called father.

Israeli archaeologists found a shrine dedicated to God at Tell Arad in the Negev desert. In it were found ink inscriptions on potsherds, mentioned was yhwh, the name of the Hebrew God, circa 600 BC. Ancient Hebrew had no J nor V, instead it was Y and W. Ergo the Holy Name cannot be JEHOVAH OR YEHOVAH, it has to be YHWH, OR Yahweh. It is true that it later became the custom among Jews not to speak the holy name and use a substitute like adonai, meaning "lord" in Greek. This use of a Greek name in place of the archaic Hebrew name YHWH suggests the custom to not say God's name arose in Hellenistic Greek times, circa after 332 BC. The Greeks believed that if you knew a god's secret name you had control over that god. Apparently the Hellenized Jews came to accept this Greek teaching, thus why God's name fell out of usage, due to superstition.

Vowelisation markers did not appear in the Hebrew language until the Masoretic text appeared. YHWH's name was known to Moshe long before that time. Yehovah and Yehovih are names that appeared after the vowelisations were introduced.

Pretty sure Yeshua never once was called Jesus. When he woke up in the morning and he left to visit the streets not a single person called him Jesus. They said good morning Yeshua! So do we not only get the name of God wrong we also get all the other names wrong. I guess its a free for all, change it to anything you like. Yeshua was Jewish, so he of course followed Jewish Religion\Traditions. So the God of the Jews is the God of Yeshua and is therefore his father or the father that he refers to.

No need for the back and forth as to what the name is or how it is pronounced. The God of Israel stated at Ezekiel 36:20,22 that He will soon return and act in order to sanctify His holy name which the real Israelites profaned among the nations where they have gone. He will make his holy name known once again among his chosen of Israel when He act to sanctify His name (Ezek39:7) .

I just have to say that all this arguing over the "correct" name/spelling/pronunciation of the name of our Almighty Father is only causing division and strife within our community. I think we can all agree that The Father incarnated Himself as Yeshua/Jesus Christ, and that His goal was to FULFILL the Scriptures, which He did TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY. Our ONLY job is to follow His commandments...to love the Father with all our heart, mind, and soul...to love EVERYONE as the Father loves us...and to spread the Gospel throughout the entire world. Please do not lose sight of this! I believe this arguing over the correct name of our Father is a massive distraction, and is only preventing people from spreading the Gospel and LIVING as TRUE DISCIPLES. Please, please, please focus on the TEACHINGS of our FATHER...and one day, very soon, He will tell us Himself, what His true and HALLOWED name is. Much love and blessings to all of you!

There is much more to a name than how it sounds. To call on Jehovah's name, means to call on his power and/or character. You can call on such a name, even if you call it Jesus in Spanish or English. To claim without any sense of shame that you must pronounce it as Jehovah with a Y sound, or God doesn't save you, is superstitious & petty. Someone could argue it's works-based salvation anathema. Besides that dead rat in the ointment at the end, thank you for researching and sharing all this interesting information.

In Exodus it does not say to call The Father Yaweh, Yahovah, or Yahowah the scriptures specifically say to call The Father and I quote Exodus 3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever. True Israelites never wrote or spoke the YHWH it was considered sacred that is why they used Adoni even when you study the languages and research this all experts say that it sounds something "LIKE" Yahweh or Yahowah they do not say that this is the way it is pronounced but its close in all actuality even the Israelites knew that they did not have the actual pronunciation this is why The Father specifies to call Him The Lord God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob so there is no misunderstanding The Father knew this would be a problem If you are a true believer you will listen to The Father not all these interpreters me I dont try to use the YHWH I say " My Father the Lord God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob" I believe the The Father would like us to concentrate on living like He wants us to than to argue over the pronunciation of YHWH.

I agree. I also say God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob when I praise or speak to Him. Yeshua is interpreted in all different languages and does not take away the meaning of the one who is the Son of God. It is only a translation meaning the same thing. On the day of Pentecost they spoke in different languages which was the Holy Spirit praising God in different tongues. If it's good enough for God's Spirit it is good enough for us. Amen?

Seek Righteousness; when they run from God's name' then they simply do not have him' Jesus speaking to his false accusers.. You peope worry about the wrong thing.it dont matter what language a man speaks .like on the day of pentecost, if God speaks to you ,you will understand in your own language.the bible allso says not to call any man father for you have one father which is in heaven.call no man rabbi for you have one master even christ which is in heaven. JESUS IS LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS TO ALL LANGUAGES AND HE CAN SPEAK FLUENTLY IN ALL OF THEM.It allso says that there is Only one name given under heaven to be saved by and the name in english is Jesus.if you dont believe that part of the bible then is any of it believable. it is written ,he that believeth in me ,though he be dead he shall live.and Jesus said it.

we don't know how YHWH was originally vocalized, every vocalization (Yahwe, Yehowah, etc) are interpretations or cover ups (jews don't want the gentiles to say the name of God, they themselves never say it, they say HaShem and stuff like that). Furthermore my opinion is that YHWH isnt really God, just read the bible and you will understand this, so i think knowing the correct pronunciation of YHWH isnt very useful...

I am a gentile who is discouraged by the many different names of GOD. No one seems to really know HIS TRUE NAME. I want to know the TRUTH. One day, I looked at the names of the books of the Bible. Could it be hidden in plain sight? Look at the last names that start with HUA AND YAHU, YAH,and AH in hebrew. I bought a hebrew bible many yrs. Back. Then look at the name of "YESHUA". My opinion. I believe HE hid HIS name in plain sight threw HIS PROPHETS names.

Why does Michael Rood, a Christian, ask for a blessing at the end from an anti-christian person? Really, we need to give the message of Jesus Christ to Nehemiah, and ask him to repent. Just because he is very versed in things Jewish does NOT mean he is serving the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Nehemiah is absolutely correct, there are many jewish sources, the jews are not like christians and rarely write books by competent scholars about the Bible, especially about the Tanckh/Old Testament. The rabbi's study the original sources and not the 20th translation from the Greek or the latin.

יהוה Yehovah is in modern Hebrew pronunciation from the Ashkenazi. Vowels have different pronunciations depending on the experience of the community. The E -O -A vowels are from ELOHA to replace the original vowels. The pronunciation Yehowa and Yehoshua. But obviously, the actual sound of the name is not important for God, but the title.

When Jesus was confronted by the head rabbi . The scripture says Christ said I Rabbi ! of which the response was that Christ was blaspheming you have to understand that people can not see the truth even when it s in front of them . When Christ was crucified the Rabbi realised that faith is not about just the written word but by belief the words are a guideline the faith is the anchor. Christ was there in the beginning as Christ will be there in the end ! Alpha and omega !

Did the Masoretes actually want to reveal "The Name" or were they still of the opinion that the Name should not be pronounced? If they were, why should we believe that these are the actual vowels? And the Masoretes didn't come along until several centuries after the destruction of the Second Temple.

It is a shame that we, the special creations don't know the name of our God. Everybody is arguing about the name. Even Jesus did not say what is His father's name. Why we waste our time for this? Don"t we realize that He don't want to be called by any name except the Father in heaven, Lord, Word. Why we just ca't say God and that's it.

Ancient Semitic Hebrew I believe the pronunciation of the vav was wah. Not Yahuvah Yahuwah. YHWH . But unless we find a audio recording of ancient speech .we don't know. Pharisees are the ones who added the vowel points. Jesus or Yeshua or however you want to pronounce that.said their father was our adversary. Ha Satan.
