GOD'S BRIDGE - Akchour, Chefchaouen, Morocco أقشور شفشاون
God's Bridge in Akchour, Chefchaouen, Morocco. Also know as Cascades d'Akchour.
About a 45 minute taxi ride from Chefchaouen and into the Rif Mountains lies a tiny town called Akchour. This is where several amazing hikes can be done to some amazing locations. Probably the most popular hike is to God's Bridge. It is a natural bridge over a canyon and you can hike to the top of it and the bottom of it. Me, my twin brother, Joe, his girlfriend and a small group of friends we made all took the taxi from Chefchauoen and did this hike. The sights were amazing. Turquoise blue water, high red canyon walls, makeshift bridges and scrambling over rocks all made for an awesome hike. Joe and I decided to cool off in the water once we made it to the bridge. The water was super cold.
Since we were there and there is so much more to see, we decided to do another hike to a very tall waterfall 2 hours one way. That hike was much more strenuous. We were exhausted after doing both of them.
I was taken back by the sheer beauty of the nature there. Did you know this was in Morocco?

Indeed, it's beautiful
It is the forgotten Morocco, beautiful and rich nature. There are beautiful landscapes in Morocco. Few people know this, such as the Rumailat resort in Tetouan, the sources of Oum Er-Rbia, and the mountainous Todra region of Morocco. he have. Great qualifications in tourism and a country of security, and a country of generosity and hospitality.
Tánger Tetuán Chefchaouen es una de las mejores ciudades de Marruecos
Did the same hike 4 years ago.. it's amazing. Especially when the locals speed past you to deliver some goods.

Dave On Arrival I think it's because Morocco is still not very known to many people like Egypt. Many people think because Morocco is in North Africa and Arabic is the spoken language people directly assume Morocco is the same as Egypt. I always say: if you want to visit a lot of history, then you should go to Egypt. But if you want to see a lot of nature and climate diversity then you should visit Morocco.

I personally didn't know about this place,, but I've heard that Morocco is like a squeezed up continent.. so any landscape in North America you can find it in Morocco in a smaller scale.

Welcome to morocco Friends beautiful video
Too cool! That looks like such a great hike and im sure the video dosent do it justice of how beautiful it is. I know the feeling of the cold water. It was so cold in the glacier lakes of BC it zapped all the oxygen out of your body haha, totally worth it though. Great video! Until next time have an awesome trip man! Cheers

I came here 3 months ago and now there is water below gods bridge and a feeling you cant explain, and if you go a bit further above that wall (the water got up the wall) then you take a small path then you will see a pool(natural) and its REALLY DEEP each time i go to akchour i get a feeling i cannot explain. Of venture. Anyways. I do live in morroco. And i highly recommend you go to al zarka. Its really good and a subordinate to akchour with more beautiful paths and kind villager, if you get lucky you may find a kind dog that will show you a way you never knew about.(zarka has lots of hidden paths and very big.) Anyways another recommendation go to the (chalal kabir) its a 2 hour walk and you can find monkeys at the 1 hour mark and i loved my experience. I just felt like th savanna vas behind a mountain and i really enjoyed my experience there. You can also find abandoned check points and sakura trees but you will need to do a bit of parkour. Either way im sure you will enjoy your stay there. Also there is a cafe near the entrance of the zarka. It gives you the steel ball run feeling

Cool video, but you missed the best part your initial trail when you got to the natural bridge if you carried on (you would have to swim a little) you would of got to the best part almost avatar scenery.

On the way to Akchour in the Rif Mountains- Morocco One of the most beautiful Cascade in Morocco, it will take almost 4 hours hiking to get there but it's worthy. Indiana Jones Adventures 🤣
The indian music you shoose has nothing to do with such a mediteranean environement and city...
Why indian music?! You'd better put mediteranean and moroccan music
