He also declared to his party that he went up 3 whole levels. His party immediately knew what he did and were extremely upset because they didn't know the tranquility girl's true nature. I really hope we get the tranquility queen adapted in a future season.

We'll be watching this till 2050. We are starting volume 6 out of 17. :D

@@mikejhock I don’t have the source but I’m pretty sure other fans mentioned the author being quite satisfied with the ending. Having read it , the story was quite a pleasant roller coaster. I do believe the ending will leave you satisfied.

@@mikejhockThe author is currently writing Kemonomichi and Combatants Will be Dispatched! and both series take place in the same universe (multiverse?) Konosuba ended with the LNs and the manga is an adaptation with filler (the author did release the third Yorimichi, which is a collection of short stories.) The Afterward had the author throw out ideas for a Konosuba sequel and Iris spin-off, but the other series (and the author’s sanity) are the current priority. The last we heard on the author’s focus, is that they’re playing Street Fighter 6.

the 'throw a bucket of water' thing is a throwback to season 1 when they first arrived in the world and had to live in the stables.

​​@@galonski64yeah iirc it's full of Cold Water used to open your pores or something, so that when you get into the hot bath it's more relieving and cleansing. You're also supposed to actually wash yourself with the cold water there before getting in the bath so you're not sitting in your own filth, or so it was explained to me.

@@galonski64 This. Before you get into the bath... you actually have to wash up. That's right, you have to get clean, before you get into the bath. Because people share baths. If you are in a family, someone else is gonna use the bath after you are.

In the Light novel they explain a little more that how the tranquility girl eats people is by making them stay with her for long periods of time and slowly killing them without them noticing. They pretty much manipulate the people they kill to stay with them and get them to starve to death while slowly eating them. So the plant girls aren't aggressive just dangerous because only certain types of people are cruel enough to kill them since they act all cute and innocent constantly. Also that's not Darkness's family, remember we already met her family in season 2. Darkness is just a noble, that is the princess of the whole country.

She was Darkness's first friend she got after praying to Eris for friends. Its not rly a sppoiler if all the info is there already and you just need to piece it together

Since it doesn't explain, allow me. The Tranquility girl plays off the emotions of humans to get them to let her travel with them. Then, when they are hungry, she offers them her fruit. The fruit is tasty, but has absolutely no nutrients. So, even if you eat till you are full, you will starve. At that point, she uses your body as fertalizer.

Kazuma resolved his PTSD in a single episode meanwhile Rudeus took a whole season to resolve it 😂

That's her version of a compliment. They didn't go as hard on the Kazumin in the anime, but she was hinting pretty hard in the LN and the manga, with both of them chickening out a bunch.

I was a bit pessimistic because I was honestly disappointed in the previous seasons and the movie. They were funny, but it always felt like they sacrificed cool Kazuma moments and story for that humour, which I thought was unnecessary. I was especially disappointed that they never adapted Kazuma's party swap in volume 2. But this first episode wasn't bad. It's been a minute, but aside from tranquility girl, I'm fairly certain the plot for this episode is almost entirely original. It was good. Plus, I like how they are setting up Chris' reveal that will happen later in the season.

about Roshi mentioning the "kill her for exp" this scene was fully changed in the anime, cause in the novel. the meeting scene was the same but after that, they left the monster and then aqua and so made fun of Kazuma's Levels, so Kazuma ran off and came back with a bunch more Exp and the Girls realized he must have went back to kill the Girl and they got mad at him. I dunno why they had to change it so Kazuma wanted to talk to her or why they even gave him a reason to kill the monster. him doing it just for exp was so much better

Supplementary info/LN changes (just a warning, there’s some spoiler comments replying to other comments, so be wary.) Fun fact: most of this episode is anime original and rearranged cut content from LN 5/the movie (Sylvia and related PTSD, Kazuma wanting to be a monk, Chris appearing, and the mallet are all anime original.) 6:20 - When Megumin held his hand, he reminisced his past (it’s implied that she’s like his childhood friend) of his childhood friend wanting to marry him, only for him to get traumatized from seeing her riding a senpai’s bike and never went back to school/became a HikiNEET and became well known in online games. This is basically why he is the way that he is/‘gender equality’ and that he has PTSD. Extra info about Tranquility Girl: the stump is part of the body, so it can’t move, it gives a lot of EXP (like the Farfetch’d monster from KonoBakuen), and old people seek one out to die in tranquility (hence the name) by eating a placebo fruit that doesn’t feed them and they pass away in peace and painlessly. Tranquility Girl can’t hurt you, unless you willingly fall for it or get addicted to the fruit, as it can’t attack/has the strength of a little girl. It’s similar to the movie, where Ep. 1 contains the cliffhanger ending from the previous book (the letter from Iris is how the movie should’ve ended and Ep. 2 will be the start of LN 6.) 11:57 - Likely not, since the previous OPs had ‘quests’ that are only in the OP and had most of the budget.
