It’s great to jump back into this world and this dlc has a lot of replayability when I just wanna jump in and play without starting a new play through. I’m not one for rogue like games but this is pretty fun

It is. I myself didn't care too much for the Rogue-like aspect in the earlies but since upgrading a bunch I begun to enjoy in more. I can't stop playing now.

Playing as Atreus definitely has potential but as it stands right now it’s pretty boring but imagine being able to use magic on top of proper melee attacks and his bow

It's smarter to do the harder realm tears first as the timer difficulty increases, get all the tears ypu need, then go back and loot all the chest when you don't have to worry about difficulty increasing anymore

Soulless assault is by far the most overpowered thing in the dlc

Just finished the story today. Still can't believe SMS released this for free.

Great tips, especially the part where you suggested to take the route/s to the rifts/chosen/s before facing Tyr. Also the legendary chests to open. Bookmarked. One of the best tips I got before though was don't focus too much starting on the hardest difficulties (for those of us not so gifted), but instead start the run/s on the lower difficulty. It allows you to survive longer ensuring you complete the chosen and reach Tyr. You do end up with a lot of stuff for completing you otherwise would not have. Worked for me. Then after a couple of those you can increase the difficulty accordingly.

Exactly I beat the game this way. Only Tyr wasn’t any easier on the lower difficulties. However through my many playthroughs. I was able to rise my stats on the harder sections of the game. Where there’s a time gage rising the difficulty of enemies. Whenever the difficulty gage goes down.

I'm playing with my sons ❤❤❤❤man it's a double joy these kids are so quick first boss died nailed it second time hhh been waiting for this moment like 20 years or so ❤❤

My first play through was on this difficulty and in a way it made it fairly easy with how fast you upgrade things.

I always enjoyed firing up god of war just to go kill some stuff real quick and help with my anger problems, the valhapla mode is great for it and the story behind it was even better i thought i really recommend it

im in my 40s, and use to play a ton of games but now my attention can't be held. GOW Ragnarok DLC is only think i've played this year. Such an amazing game, the gameplay can't be beat.

I’d love to see more builds for other weapons!

I just beat the DLC story last night. After a tough grind at the start of the adventure, I started to get back in a groove. It was great coming back to this game. I tried avoiding tips and spoilers just to see if I could figure out and understand the upgrade mechanics. It took a few runs, but it was pretty intuitive.

Already did the 100% on max dificulty, but still finding myself turning on my ps5 for a run when I get some free time. Amazing DLC

It’s too difficult.

I like the red perk from the 5000 echo chest. The one that basically turns your rage into health. It’s especially good for trying to get rage mastery since the sword rage is basically useless against tyr

the invincible barrier relic can be refreshed and used on cooldown to maintain permanant invincbility . litreally cannot be harmed and can tank attacks during runics to get more charges in .

Great video. Didn’t know you can have 4 res stones. It’s not I like need them lol

Mixing one of my favorite franchises with one of my favorite genre of game (rouge lite) is so good. Hope they expand it some more but I doubt it

Can you only get the Souless Assault on Show Me Mastery? Or can I get it on Prowess/Courage?

Rond of purification is bugged nobody can get it. Need to wait for an update

If you want high score 100k+ then you should do blue blue Boat yellow yellow desert red red forum. Edit. You also need the breach thing xp

What grips is he using?

I'm confused on how to actually progress the dlc story. As I'm exploring do I have to pick doors until I get to a Valhalla's Chosen, defeat said chosen then go through the Sands? At this rate I'll have max stats before I even get out of the lower realms lol

yeah kill the chosen enter the sands, fight watever the boss is there, then u get to greese, from there i dont wanna spoil the fun. if u can get max stats before u get to greece cause them enemies tough

best route in greece is red realm -> yellow tear (both on lvl1) -> boat -> blue tear -> 2nd arena -> blue tear -> 3rd arena - > tyr. Not as you prescribed to go blue tears first on level 1 difficulty

The crazy part: If this dlc ( expansion? ) was there at launch the game would be rated higher.

I haven't the DLC yet but I believe everything transfers to the actual game but maybe not the stats I think it's just the weapons.

If you opened all the barrier locks, opened all the chests and got all the relics there's pretty much no further use for them. I guess they made it so more was available to be gotten than less.

I'm surprised you don't know that buying the burden is what makes Tyr at his hardest, including everything is, as red.

Im playing on easiest difficulty and still cant beat the final tyr boss fight some one help me

I think theres about 3 or 4 berserker boss's, kill one and finish the run then start over until you get it

I unfortunately didn't need any of this, since I actually know more, but I haven't beaten all the kings yet, or beat Tyr again since the Sigrun epilogue, and until that if finished, will try burden.

Its not that bad. Berserker is the same as the other difficulties. Just more spongy. Once you learn the berserkers move set they are easy to parry over and over.

It’s not that special to be honest. The most op build you can get with relic recharge and slow mo relic. Feel free to check my last Tyr fight to see what I’m talking about.
