I used the stonewall shield for a bit, but found that it ended up leaving me worse off in the long run. I learned bad habits and while it’s more challenging, I would recommend the dauntless as it forces you to really perfect your skills

9:00 The Dauntless Shield has the ability to redirect projectiles. I've been perfect parrying the Grims' acid projectiles in Svartlfheim using the Dauntless Shield.

I think they nerfed it I just did that and only got like 33 xp for killing them all and then the 100xp for destroying the thing

Ok no i take that back...they keep spawning and you will gain xp until nest detroyed...i jist gained 704xp for it!!!

I got it this afternoon and this game is amazing I already asked for a day off at work tomorrow 4 hours so far it ain’t enough to enjoy the marvelous game

Just getting home with my copy from gamestop. I've not been this pumped for a game in a long time.

9:00 the dauntless shield does redirect enemy projectiles, it just doesn’t have the same animation as the guardian shield. The projectile bounces off as opposed to Kratos throwing it.

You can parry yellow attacks when the stone wall shield is fully charged to avoid getting staggered. It helps when doing boss fights

Can't wait to get home to play this game. One of the best game ever. I have all the god of war games

Actually the dauntless Sheila does also reflect enemy projectiles but doesn’t “catch it” it’s more like a mirror!

Already just having the location assist I can tell ua going to be a game changer for me. Im not the best gamer and I never playnon hard difficulty and I spent alot of time in the first God od War getting lost ao that feature will be a huge help

I dominated the hateful with Parry. It works so well in this game

I have voice cues turned off in my game but there are still certain times in the game it will give me voice cues like when using the blades to burn through the smoke stacks during the first side quest in the dwarf area and I can not figure out how to turn it off

I swear the dauntless, star, and guardian shield shot back projectiles....didn't use the stonewall. But now I might.

Now this is an actual helpful video, unlike certain other videos out there "Use evade on bosses, use runic attacks on cooldown, use the environment" LOL?

Should I really be upgrading anything gear wise during play? or should I just use what gear is leveled up until end game? or does that even make sense?

I absolutely love the fact that more and more, game developers are becoming accommodating for people with accessibility needs. It's such a positive change that impacts so many people. that being said, I can't understand why anyone without the need would change those options in game. Like... I feel like you're robbing yourself of an integral part of the game. Those QTEs and button prompts keep the game play experience flowing. It keeps you engaged. I just don't get why someone would be like, "I can't be bothered with that button press, I'm getting my mind right so I can press more buttons in a few seconds."

Ehh I mean I understand it. I wouldn’t turn it off myself but I see how someone could just find them pointless, slightly annoying and just end up turning them off. Feels a bit more like playing bop it than an actual fleshed out game. I think most of the people who really like quick time events probably just like them out of nostalgia cuz they used to be more common in early video gaming

QTE is annoying, luckily GOW isn’t too bad with them. Marvel’s Spider-Man game was absolutely trash for QTE and needed to turn it off.

I had no idea R3 points you in the right direction. Woulda come in handy.

Being able to set it to automatically pick up loot is so much better

I am on my 2 play through and found out that u can’t skip cutscenes 👎. Also any news on new game + I seem to remember that new game + was added to bow 2018 like 4 months later, do u think it will be the same for Ragnarök?

I have 3 ps5s in my house. My original went down Monday, and I had a guy from ebay drive me a new one just in time to play Ragnarok on the night of release. The story is amazing, and the game is made great. I just am not sure why I don't enjoy the game play. Elden Ring is my favorite game of all time. I beat it and loved the entire 200 hours I played. How many non gamers play a game for over 200 hours?
