    I was hoping to at least hear about what happened to sindri after ragnarok. I know the dwarves suffered the most from this. But I'm still more afraid of what he is doing now.

    The fact that Durlin was fully prepared to die for the cause is worth praise. He had not planned to survive the first rebellion, and is certainly not planning to survive the second one. The fact that he did was a welcome surprise for all, because now he can help lead the realms.

    technically he knew he was leading them into a trap when he gave them "tyr's" location, no wonder he doesn't feel worthy of joining the council.

    Did Durlin even know that "Tyr" was actually Odin?

  • @tim.noonan

    @tim.noonan

    @@LemonLime36Not sure that mattered. Durlin was basically Odin’s contact with Svartalfheim so he’s likely become familiar with Odin’s ways. He knew that nothing good would come from digging through the mine regardless of what came next.

  • @martinc8965

    @martinc8965

    @@tim.noonan Exactly, Odin wouldn't be confident enough to reveal his entire plan to him, including the part where he disguises himself as Tyr. He would only ask him to give a specific location, according to the incorrect guesses that the protagonists had under threat of death, as Durlin says when we return from forging the spear.

  • @martinc8965

    @martinc8965

    @@LemonLime36 Well... in itself, Tyr was NEVER in Svartalheim, that is something that Kratos, Atreus and Mimir incorrectly deduced, the real one was always in Asgard's prison, and that was something Odin took advantage of, to infiltrate. And this makes more sense the further along Kratos tells Atreus that Odin "seemed" to know that he and Durlin knew each other, so in that sense, he also knew that Durlin was just pretending that he didn't know Atreus when we met him again, when we are playing as Atreus, perhaps also on his orders so that Atreus would not suspect anything, what's more, if you stay by his side for a while he just says "be smart boy."

    I didn't put it together the first time but the reason twice by the Dwarves it was assumed that Kratos killed Fey(why he has her axe) was because the Dwarves remembered he as the ferocious warrior.

    Even in the DLC this game was nothing but Ls for the dwarves. The Huldra Brothers are no more, their livelyhoods were left in shambles, their reputation likely took a hit since the only "help" they provided at ragnarok was Sindri, whose contribution was largely removing the siege weapons made by the dwarves. (sure they were forced, but it's unclear how aware of the situation the other realms are)

    It's like that whale in the game that Mimir imprisoned. When you are oppressed long enough, you grow accustomed to it. Even when the chains are removed, you still feel it on you. It is the same with the dwarves. Now that the foot is off their backs, they don't know how to move on as they were so used to it.

    you know who woulda been really useful to help deal with this whole mess? Brok and Sindri. As it is, all we're left with is either Durlin or Lunda. Neither exactly in a great position to lead anybody anywhere. Give Lunda enough time she might surprise, but the Dwarves are screwed in the short term, and will need a lot of help to get their feet back under them
