Since both of Loki's and Angrboda's children are not entirely their own (not biological like in the myths), I think Loki/Angrboda can "adopt" some random girl and that way Loki and Angrdboda have a daughter? That saves a lot of decades

Lol I think they did it they way because they are kids they couldn't have them have sex and she walk around pregnant than give birth and tell would still have to grow up to fight in Ragnarok....the game should have made 3 or 4 games for the Norse saga

One thing though is that in both ancient Norse and Greek times, having a kid at a younger age wasn't an uncommon thing. Considering that they're both in their teenage years, even if it was a 5-10 year time skip, them having a child and possibly one that grows quicker than norm since they're both giants, and Atreus is part god, it wouldn't be too hard for them to have their own kid either.

Lol I don’t think we will wait longer, you missed one very important detail. Atreus isn’t doing his chase for the giant alone, he is doing it with her Eric Williams basically confirmed it in an interview and said that’s why they exchanged their marbles at the end of the game ( that’s how they can find each others all the time) So merely a 5 years timeskip and you can do it with them as young adults

Since both Fenrir and the World Serpent were born out of souls, maybe Hel could also be one in a future game. Or Hraesvelgr is Hel just like Skoll and Hati who were not born to their mythological counterpart. Also, have you considered the process of time in each realm? Such as in real life how one year in Saturn is 29.4 years on Earth. So maybe living in Helheim could boost or make time slower compared to Midgard or Joutenheim.

I can already imagine a continuation of the "escaping fate" theme in narratives to come, with Loki understanding the promise made to the big Hel crow and wanting to protect her from that fate.

If we think according to mythology, Loki has a wife (Sigyn) and two sons (Narfi and Váli) born to him besides Angrboda. In Ragnarök (actually this is assumed but not certain) Odin calls Freya "That's my Frigg". It is obvious that major changes have been made to the mythology in the game. Considering that Thrud is the only girl other than Angrboda in the game, and Athreus is also the grandson of Zeus, and Loki is the (mythology) trickster god... I mean, Athreus can have Mjolnir just as his father had the Leviathan Axe.

Fun fact: Time moves differently throughout the realms.

at this point even though the game came out not long ago i just want a hint on where they are goin with this games. kratos's voice is so iconic and i dont see sunny carrying that alone...

I think even tho Ragnarok was the last time we'd play in the 9 realms I believe going forward we will still get more lore from the 9 realms. I think we will get updates on Greece as well. I feel like they wanna start tying things together instead of completely focusing on a new pantheon like they have done In the past

It seems that someone forgot that, if you are in Hel the time in the other realms is much faster, 1 hour in Hel must be like 1 day in Midgard, considering that the best example we have of this was in Gow 4 when we go for the Guardian's Heart with the example that Mimir gave.

Ok.. so bear with me for a few seconds... We know that Hella is more or less part corpse, part living bring. The literal image that you are showing us of Hella shoe a white eye and a colored eye. We also know that the eyes of people get white when their souls leave their bodies via giant magic. So, here is my theory... Somehow, someway, Atreus find this marble in his journey, but for whatever reason, the marble is cracked and the soul inside of the marble is damaged. Also, somehow, someway, during his travel, he finds a girl that, I dunno, maybe b comes a companion, almost like a little sister or a daughter, but end up dead or damaged by soul magic and then he tries to save her using the broken soul inside of the marble and voila, we have Hella. Or course maybe Angrboda helped him or something, but I dunno. This is just me throwing something on the writing board and hoping it sticks

both of the 2 children of Loki and Angrboda are given a soul instead of a natural birth, we can imagine that the 3rd child can be “born” in the same way. thus we don’t need to wait that many years. 😮 the questions are: whose soul and whose body ? what’s the significance of the shrine with these wolfs and a snake on the breast of the woman?

I would not be surprised if Loki and Angrboda would have a daughter in the future. Furthermore, Loki has two other sons in Norse mythology, Vali and Narfi. Those are the sons of Sigyn, a very mysterious figure described to be very loyal and helpful. How long Atreus will be on the road is yet to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised to watch him return home as a young adult with two little kids in tow.

What about his horse child was it sleipnir I think it would of been cool to see him as well don’t really feel like he gets enough love

It doesn't mean "hel" has to be biologically an extension of Atreus. It could be an outcome of sorts... Maybe Sumara? Since she didn't join with Sutr. But I also thought there was mention of Odin's daughter in the game already and another character. So who knows. But it definitely will be interesting..

She could end up being cratos's daughter? Because the the side of her face that has the tattoo on it is in the same location as cratos, as well as the fact that cratos still has a part of hades soul in him.

Interesting- I will say I don’t think we have to wait that long because I believe hell or the afterlife or a certain type of afterlife is the same in every mythology meaning she may be “around already “ I do believe that Atreus will go to Egypt, and may be during this trip they find a female who maybe lost her soul to anubis ( making a story shh lol ) - and he puts one of his jotnar soul into her creating hel or heljar ( also probably with angraboda) and possibly either the soul that is in her or the person that was before, will have a knowledge of the afterlife and will become “HEL” and with only a few years will take the seat from the big bird svelivgar or either have to “figure” it out with heilvinni - if he has his eyes set on the army of hel -which would be interesting Atreus goes to Egypt Kratos rebuilds Greece and some Nordic stuff like the world tree and rainbowbridge that I believe he will improve on allowing him to go to at least Greece maybe farther depending on what the directors want to do, but I believe he will be atoning for his past transgressions, and instead of being a destroyer, she will be somewhat of a rebuilder but during this, he will seek counsel and one person who is stronger in mind and spirit. This person is Buddha and is in the Mongolian Asian region my opinion and yes, we will finally meet sumon Kong this would be amazing!!! ( and Kratos finally gets a red lantern ring 💍 and combines it with his draupir ring/spear to be OP AF could u imagine !??

8:16 ain't gonna lie, Atreus looks SICK with a short beard... I said in another video, would be great if maybe one or two games in the future, to have another pantheon to attack midgard (ahem! slavic pantheon, ahem!), and if they killed the large bird and hel started to go out of control, that would be a good way for Atreus daughter to step up as the new hel, but why they would kill the bird? well, I have an idea, considering that midgard was ruled by them before (and it was!), when Odin kicked them out, he kicked the god who was in charge of hel too, (maybe chernabog? I don't know) but this god is back now, and once he killed hel's eagle now he is in charge of the dead, so to stop the hel's army to attack midgard for good, you have to kill him and put someone in his place, would be a good way to fight hordes of hel's army and the dead eagle, now a corpse under this god's comand... just imagine... I know I'm reeeealy reaching, but would be cool asf, isn't?

It WOULD be cool! But I'm afraid, at this point, the Eagle retiring is the path they're gonna take. It may be interesting if Hel steps up and THEN the pantheon invades, and Chernobog or whoever tries and take control of the dead.

@@MidChronicler ​ that's a good idea too, I just find amusing to use this pantheon in the story, cuz they have a god who is really close to what we know of Loki, called Veles, who is a nature god that can shapeshift, who better to teach Atreus the limits of his powers than an ancient version of himself? yall find it cool to see atreus shapeshift into a bear? well, Veles can teach the boy to become a 3 headed dragon, how bout that?

Is it that the shrines were false or is it that they didnt show all the details? As I understood it they hid the details of each shrine so that only giants could see them and that Groa only lied to Odin.

There is also another easter egg that tell where we might get in the future episodes

They could use time travel to go forward and have fully grown Atreus and Hel as a young adult

But didn't Santa Monica said that they are finished with the Norse storyline and that there will be no trilogy of this theme?

How about Mimirs offer to current Hel was Lokis firstborn child/daughter? (since both Fenrir and Jörmi are not their biological children) Which could mean a lot of trouble going forward where Atreus maybe has to save his daughter or whatever.

Hey man your theory is really good but I will say that let the hints of gow Ragnarok be in the game don't think too much. Just like in game they mentioned those shrines didn't mean anything especially when cory once confirmed that the horn was blown by someone who was chasing kratos and loki and then he said that it was all a misdirection so I will just say that your work is amazing but try not to overthink on these hints too much they might just don't mean anything like the rest of the shrines...just saying

Since both Fenrir and Jormungandr were born out Atreus/Angrboda transferring souls into a “soulless” body, maybe the same can work for Hel. In the next Atreus solo game, maybe Atreus and/or Angrboda transfer a soul into a women that died or had already died, hence creating “Hel” or “Heljar”

They can even explore the concept of Atreus finding a Giantess Woman in let’s say Egypt, that he wants to protect and save, and along the way she dies or has her soul whispered away, hence Atreus giving her a new soul and creating “Hel”

What if loki & angrboda have a daughter then their daughter dies then they put haeglsver's soul in their daughter's corpse?

Big Speculation here: In order to avoid that massive wait in the real world, they could make a new story where sindri goes to the big bird and takes the throne since it's so willing to give it out. And he'll use his newfound power the moment he gets it, to unleach helheim's might down on Kratos and BOY, and it even makes sense given the fact that Heljar is a male name. If I'm right about this, y'all gotta start a "GGs" chain

Ragnaork is old Norse for twilight of Gods. That name meaning is inportant on how you look at the ending of Norse Mythology. Yes Raganork will come again that is certain but what’s not certain is whether Raganork is a cycle or event that happens twice because the survivors repeat the mistakes and unlike last time, there wasn’t any survivors. This problem is manly cause by the Chess set of the Gods and the story saying they will repeat their fathers mistakes, and the fact it just says raganork will come again, nothing else.

I was surprisingly disappointed with GoW Ragnarok's story. It was too centered around Atreus and had too little to do with Kratos. The man that was responsible for the downfall of the Pantheon became second fiddle to a teenager. 😠 👎🏽
