I love Mimir’s history telling time it’s like local tour Guide telling a story to a Group of tourist especially to the kid who’s so curious

Clearly a review of events for people who didn't play the last game and went straight to this one. Devs really were thoughtful for this.

A lot of these seem to end with Thor killing them…

Murder here, murder there, murder more than once, so many murders. Is keeping a Giant for a fight for sport out of the question?

In Norse Mythology Skadi was the wife of Njord, father of Freyr and Freya. I know that in-game she is not their mother, but I wonder if she is Njords wife in the game too? I am not sure if it has been explicitly stated that she really died but if not it could be that she met Njord after winter (who says giants freeze to death?) when he had lost his wife at a certain point in the Aesir-Vanir-War. Both might have found each other in grief, formed a relationship and went to the sea to heal their wounds.

I just missed the story of Bergelmir and Surtur What was missing from Atreus stories Where he himself says there is more if it weren't for Kratos interrupting and has the stories of giants that Thor killed in the original Norse Mythology but were not included in the games such as: The Tyr's father Hymir,Geirrod and his daughters and the end the giants UtgardLoki & Skrymir It's a shame that Murals/Tales of the giants were not placed and used about all these giants and also about Loki who should have been in this game in various kingdoms and places from Hellhaim,Iontuhaim the land of giants and Svartalhaim and Vanahaim It's a shame it wasn't used and placed It would be amazing to see l hopefully in the next games or more dlcs That happens and appears + these stories are also told for us 🤔🥺😔🙏🙏 like and Bye!

It’s hinted, never confirmed. Although she might’ve died giving birth to him and that’s why Odin is so bitter towards him.

dont like the heavy bias basically force you to like the giants and ignores the original lore for the simple purpose of making kratos a god killer again could have made it a split on both sides being bastards but the Aesir being the preferred bastards instead we get this

@Free R Kelly and personally I dont like the MASSIVE changes to norse Mythology the first games had changes definitely but everyone was still in place you expected then to be and looked as they should (minus hades) but in this it's just a pantheon mess they dont look or even in place as they should baldur looks as you would expect vidarr to Mimir isnt odins uncle but a stranger god they mad massive changes to the story and heavily bias them so that we hate the gods and made the giants innocent Angel's and the gods terrible tyrants with no nuances even made ragnarok the End of Asgard not the nine realms free loki from all the consequences of his choices only destroying his enemies and none of the innocent like in the myth it's a massive cop out to me
