This is a talk that I need today. It warmed my soul.

I really really needed this message. It was exactly what I needed to hear that day. I felt like it was written just for me, I couldn't stop sobbing. I’ve been a member for decades & have rarely missed a talk given for General Conference. However, this talk touched me in ways I can’t put into words. It was as if Elder Phillips was talking just to me. I will never forget the overwhelming Spirit I felt throughout all of Conference but in particular, this talk. Thank you Elder Philips. 💞

When Jesus is exalted, it really speaks to all, even the cosmic orphans. Smiles. "I must decrease, so He may increase". It is the increasing of Jesus Christ that heals the world 🌎

"The first shall be last and the last shall be first in the Kingdom of God" and another parabolic reference is sometimes when we win, we loose and sometimes when we loose, we win! 11:28

His comparison of an imperfect fathers love of his son to a perfect Heavenly Fathers love of us...really hit home. Thank you for this Elder Phillips, as an imperfect father it gave me a perspective I hadn't considered and quite frankly was the most touching moment of conference for me. Something I will likely never forget.

Keep sharing your testimony of Jesus Christ, together we can bring love and repentance to this world. And just maybe, soften a few hearts while we are at it. In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior amen. Love you brother.

This talk spoke of truths on such a foundational level that all who hear it with good intent will feel the truth of the message testify to them.

wonder if your son was found dead what would you say? don't get me wrong, i am very happy he was safe. but many Christians lost their only child...so i d't think that is good starting point of the talk.

Literal or not, sacred scriptures have other meanings.

Dude we have got to do something about the daftly dry boringness of general conference. It's so unapealling to anyone who doesn't absolutely love mediocre speeches given by older adults
