I prayed for years for my first to be my last and when we got together I had never felt the way I felt about her with anyone else I never dated anyone but her we were so perfect together then one day I started letting it slip I had been getting worried if I was good enough what if someone was better than me stronger in faith more good looking and I started making her feel like I didn’t trust her I just got so worried with losing her that I pushed her away now now I miss her like crazy I think about her all the time I dream about her and I feel so bad for what I did I want to be the man she deserves I’ve prayed for so long for God to fix me and heal our relationship I know I messed up but I would give everything I had to have her if you read this please help me pray and thank you for reading

2 or 3 weeks since our separation. Been praying to God, trying to become less anxious, less needy or less afraid to show someone I need them, and healing from the pain. As for him, his avoidant tendencies manifested and that’s why he pulled away. We still ended up looking at each other’s posts, at least until recently. I believe my ex is either forcing himself to get over me or thinking about what to say to me soon. I believe God wants me to repair my relationship with him. It’s just that he needs to overcome his fear of vulnerability and I need to continue being less anxious to the point I push people away or cling on too much Update: I got ghosted by him after implying that I still had feelings. Maybe I said too much? I did, although that was immature. I can live with grief, though

You have to take solace in the fact that you did the right thing and put God first. A breakup is so painful, and yours would be after being together for such a long time. That special place in your heart for him will be there, but it will subside as the divine love and grace of Our Lord will reveal to you that righteousness will always supersede human love. You will eventually be equally yoked to someone whose love will be a reflection of God’s love, not just mere human love. 🙏🏽
