It's hard to hear people who are married tell single people to wait and enjoy. Especially when you're lonely and want someone to enjoy the life God made for them. You get to a point that singleness gets more like a prison cell. As time goes on. But I remember a story from my parents. They both got to the point that they just figured they was nobody for each other. And they stopped looking, then in a few weeks, they bumbed into each other at the laundromat.

Maybe in today’s time you don’t meet someone on a laundromat but you do meet them on social events or though social media

I hear you and I was there!!! But let me tell you, when you get married you look back and see that it was not a prison cell… marriage can seem to many like a prison cell. It’s all about your perspective! Understanding it is a gift from God to have UNDIVIDED time with Him is what sets us free from that kind of mindset. It’s when focused on the Lord and wanted Him more than what He could give me (marriage) that my husband came along. I had given up at that point and I gave up happily, content with being single all my life if that is what God wanted and we need to get to that place where we accept His will above our own and trust Him with our future, whatever it holds.

i Know it can be hard waiting but its all in Gods timing. I found my wife when i was 42 and i had girls who wanted marriage but i declined. I knew in my spirit who my wife would be after i spoke with her and i had no problems or second thoughts about marriage. i had the knowing in my spirit that she was the 1. i hope this helps you all.

Pray for me that I meet the woman God has planned for me. It's very depressing that I haven't met her yet. It's all in His timing.

I'm the same. I'm 28 and I've never dated anyone! Never kissed a girl or anything! It does hurt knowing many of my friends are either married or currently dating. I feel your pain man. God will match us up with the right person at the right time. Have faith!

Illness is a precious opportunity for repentance. I also want to tell you that God is bigger than a diagnosis made by a doctor, he has the last word. Right on target Jackie I remember being in college and telling a girl "quit trying to find the right guy for you!" God will figure it out and put you with who you are supposed to be with because he made you and knows you better than you know you!. She said " Randy don't you think you need to help God out?" I said nope, he knows what he is doing. She laughed at me at the time now she is happily married to a great guy for 20 years. She was not looking for him but God brought them together I am friends with both of them and she is a happy person now.

I'm 41 years old and I've never been married. last time I dated was 7 years ago before I had a close relationship with God and for a long time I was really content being single but lately I've been lonely but I will not date someone who the Lord hasn't told me to date. I don't want to be in the wrong relationship out of God's will. If God gives me a husband I want it to be blessed.

I came to a point where I said “Lord I am content with being single my entire life if that’s what you want” and when I waited patiently for Him, He sent my husband to me. I realized that marriage is for me, but it’s not about me… it’s for the Kingdom of God. Singleness was really hard, especially after dedicating two years to wait for a man I believed was my husband only to find out I was wrong. Marriage is gift but it is just as hard as singleness, in DIFFERENT ways. It’s not always a walk in the park… singleness is also a gift ! 🎁 we just don’t know how much of a gift it is until we are not single anymore. Truly undivided time with God is priceless…. I pray the Lord give both of you ladies the husbands that will best suit you in your walk with Him in His timing! ⏱️ and in the meantime, to enjoy this season of singleness with Him ☺️🙏

It will come. Be you, be the best you. Stay away from the mamas boys, that flatter themselves, or whom need friends to your courtship and shun the ones that say 'I think she's ready to meet my parents' (screw them dude types) And while in courtship, make it a long one and have him come to church too on it. He doesn't have to be member (God will do that) - he just needs to near you in your hangouts of interest. And dont fall for the equally yoke thing - for when Jesus picked his disciples they werent certified. May your courtship be wine and dine daily, as was mine (she passed RIP)

I just turned 59. I have endured a divorce and several failed relationships that came close to marriage (we got to the engagement stage). In each situation, I was not the one who wanted to end the relationship but I am tired of always hearing a woman say "I felt trapped." It has led me to conclude that our society does not value marriage. People don't realize that marriage is not "a piece of paper" or "a formality." It is one of the mysteries of the Church. It is a solemn vow people take before God and man to be faithful to one another. I saw a video just last week saying that for the first time in the history of the United States, the majority of adult women are single (never married, divorced, or widowed). It is now easier to get a divorce in this country than it is to break a lease on your apartment (no exaggeration). But for a man like me who is looking to get married, this does not mean that I can find a wife much easier because most of these women don't want to get married. We are becoming a nation of single, lonely adults. I don't believe this was in God's master plan.

@cortezconquistador Believe me, I can understand your pain and frustration. But giving up is not the answer. I believe that I have now found a very wonderful lady who is interested in marriage. If it does work out between us then it will work out for you also. I know it's a cliche to tell you that the right man will not abandon you because of your past - he will stay and help you heal - but if I can find true love at my age then I believe there is hope for a relatively young lady like you also. Looking for love is like mining for gold. Until you find gold, you will dig up a lot of dirt and mud. But once you hit the motherlode, it will make you rich. Hang in there It will happen for you too!

I almost fell for a man who seemed of God, prayed morning and night and had prophetic gifts, but then it was dark and he began controlling me in a short time and was speaking conflicting visions over me. Evil visions. It was depressing because I thought he was sent by God. Lol Now I am confused and decided to be a nun. ❤

You don’t know how true that statement is until that season is gone and you are married! I wouldn’t listen to anyone who’d say singleness was a gift… I wish I did. I wish I enjoyed it more…

It's not always about someone perfect. The most important thing is to appreciate peoples and animals around us. Most of them we treat as granted. They're always around and we focus mostly on ourselfs. Up to the moment when somebody is missing, or not that healthy anymore. Then we realize how selfish we were, how many precious moments we have lost. There is not way to turn back time. God talks to us in different ways. Mostly in polite manner, but sometimes we deserve harsh attitude. Then it hurts more than we can imagine. That's it. Whoever you have around you, thank God for this person or animal, because so called everyday life is a gift! ❣

@@ericscaillet2232 Thank you. Lonely people transfer their feelings to pets - clarification. My friend waited for 10 years and he succeded, but the case is he changed his attitude and found somebody, who did not judged him that hard too. When in one on one position, you probably feel rejected subconsciously and give up. Other side just seems not to care that much and gets on with life. You stay with your feelings - on and on. Solution: there are some, but I'm not to preach here. All best to you!

It is so worth the wait to marry, I married a woman that was much like Ahab's wife, I am blessed to be alive, she broke off the marriage but I still suffer from 19 yrs of terror, fortunately God has healed me of much of the trauma and confusion, it is best to wait on God's approval, he knows the heart of everyone, nothing is hidden from Him.💜✝️

Wow I needed to hear this. I've been astray for too long. I remember a time where I was seeking His Kingdom first. The Lord kept blessing me with whatever I was in need of, seriously. I lacked nothing. Everything came at the right time because I gave the situations to God and put Him first. Before this video I constantly felt depressed and even thought about killing myself. Held a knife on my throat a few times but was too afraid to go through with it because I knew who I'd be facing once i did. Thank God I did not do it because I want to live for the Lord and reach the non-believers. Even though I ran from the Lord to seek the temptations of this world, He never left my side. Thank you Jesus! Your love and mercy are hard to put into words, but wow. God bless you and your spouse Jacky for making this video. It really got to me.

The only issue that I have with this is the word "perfect." None of us are perfect and we will never be perfect. There is no "perfect" husband. But I do believe that God does bring you and your spouse together. And with my own husband, what I have seen is how well we compliment each other in our strengths and weaknesses. He struggles with processing language. His favorite shirt is one that says "words are hard." Meanwhile, I have a degree in English and am excellent with words and language. So I am able to help him with this. I have always struggled with math/finances/technology, but he excels at it. So again, it creates a wonderful balance. I just want to caution against looking for perfection. Look for someone who isn't too prideful to admit that he isn't perfect. Someone whose heart is softened to the Lord. Who strives to obey and honor God and confesses and admits wrong when he messes up. A man who is forgiving and generous. Merciful. One who doesn't hold grudges.

I needed to hear this today. Most of my teenage and young adult life was spent chasing a lot of girls, and that rejection from them led to way worse stuff like porn. I've spent years not being faithful to God, and that led me nowhere in life. Folks, if you're not being faithful to God, how can you expect Him to bless you? Only recently have I started stepping it up in my spiritual walk with God, and while I'm still not perfect, I know He's with me every step of the way. He's got plans for me, but I gotta stay faithful to Him first. Thank you Jackie for this video.

Been there. And while you carry and walk with God. Be you, be the best you and dont fall into that 'equally yoke' thing. And dont look down on potential mates whom dont know God. Your courtship with them is where your the salt and he's the sugar...so dont let anyone tell you you are trying to woo anybody. I chased and hoped from 15 - 27, and I gave up. I concentrated on my career to get in and did at that time. Things were great all the way to 46 and made peace with it (not having someone), till she came (2nd time) in my life. And she was super cute and tender.
