Hearing stories like this make me want a speedrunning anime... One part being the real people interacting, strategising and general plot; and the other part being the animators going absolutely nuts visually interpreting the crazy speedrun movements and skips that happens in the game world. Also Magolor pretty much sounds like an anime protagonist already.

Have you heard of whitecat? He started playing osu at 12 and got banned because he was so good people thought he was cheating. Right now he is the current best or near best osu player Edit: a bit late but he actually was banned for multi accounting but because the reason wasnt actually disclosed everyone thought it was cheating

A TAS can do QGA without even requiring crystal dash, so while it would be cool, it still wouldn't be optimal lol

I've been watching a lot of Hollow Knight speenruns (and rando races) lately and have been really curious about how the route developed. I'm excited to watch more of this series and learn about the awesome speedrunning community!

Ok so i need to maybe see this new speedrunning route

Watching this only knowing his involvement in shmup community feels weird. Never had an idea he put that much effort in route discovery, so this video gave me some new appreciation for his skill. He's shown to be an extremely hard worker on a shmup side as well and is one of the best Ketsui players ever and is the best western Ketsui player period.

I just beat Hollow Knight the other day. So, I have a rough understanding how the game works. What I love about your video is that you took the time to explain things (Super Dash, Double Jump, etc.). That way I could follow way better. Entertaining and informative video. I feel the passion.
