Just did that last Saturday. A homeless man and note only homeless he has a sound mind. Kept begging for food as i walked on the jogging trail. I went to the supermarket and got him food and water and found peace in my soul after that. It should be our christian duty to help the most vulnerable around us. Good morning brothers and sisters.

Thank you for remiding us to care for the vunerable and or greiving. Even if you think there is nothing you can do, there is, you can pray for them. Along with food for those in need I also wanted to give Bibles. All the Christian book stores wanted way more money then I had, so one day I walked into Barnes and Noble, went to their Bible section and they were very expensive. So sadly I started to walk out. Just as I was leaving, I glanced down at a table full of books, and right there in the middle of those bargain books, were stacks of Bibles for $5.00 USA. I bought everyone them. The Lord provided a way for me to not only give food to those in need, but also brand new Bibles. PRAISE THE LORD.

That’s something that even knowing who we are and every thought and word and action, God doesn’t get shocked or surprised. He knows how to make the bad into something good. How fortunate we are to have a loving Father. Love unconditional and non obligated. That’s how our lives should reflect from his example. Jesus is coming back and he is the only way. Please continue to watch over the homeless. When my family and I passed the homeless shelter today, my brother pointed out feeding the homeless. He gave tracks also. That shelter today now the homeless have built shelter connected to that building. I know I used to skim this part in Matthew but I believe it actually shows how Jesus' is connected to many other people in the Old Testament. It shows how in history the New Testament is connected to the Old Testament and how it was prophesied that the Messiah would come from that lineage of the tribe of Judah and do all of those miracles (Isaiah 35:5--6) which Jesus did. So there should be no doubt that Jesus is in fact the Messiah that was prophesied about. Thank You Lord!

"Let all that you do be done in love" - seek to reach out to the lost, to point them to Christ. But also be ready to offer assistance - even if it's just to offer shoulder or an ear. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is your time. I've a long way to go, but Jesus is faithful.

My Grandmother used to have a literal "open door" policy in her house. She'd keep her door open and leave the screen door there, just a simple swinging screen door without a lock or latch, and she'd leave the gates to the yards and house door all unlocked and fully open. She didn't really believe in keeping doors closed to the world, even though she knew there was sinfulness and evil out there. Because she believed the only cure to evil was love and so whenever someone was curious and knocked on the door to talk to whoever lived there, she was always the one to welcome them in and talk about whatever they wanted to talk about. And though it didn't happen often, I definitely remember people, complete strangers mind you, just waltzing up to the door and asking stuff, various things, from selling things to just curiosity, some even asked for water on a hot day. Grandma was always willing to help out without hesitation. May she rest in peace

✝️ Being vulnerable with God is coming to the One who was vulnerable for us on the cross. He created and sustains our very life. Nothing is hidden from His sight (Hebrews 4:13). Only God knows our heart (Psalm 44:21). When we open ourselves up to God, uncurling our clenched fists which so desperately want to hold on to our way of doing things, we have an opportunity to see our faith in God’s power increase. Looking to Jesus in Our Vulnerability Although being vulnerable can seem daunting, we do not need to walk the road of vulnerability alone. Jesus walked the most vulnerable path. He stepped down from the heavens, becoming like a man in human flesh, with all of its vulnerabilities and weaknesses. He shared His human life with His followers, and they remembered His way of life as they went on to become the early church. Jesus became vulnerable for us, therefore we can trust Him in our own vulnerability.
