GOBUSTAN MUD VOLCANOES AND PETROGLYPHS: An incredible day out from Baku, Azerbaijan!
We had a fantastic day out from Baku Azerbaijan with BagBakuTours and our tour guide, Walid. We hopped in a van and drove from Baku to the nearby region of Gobustan where we visited the Museum of Petroglyphs and explored the historic surrounding mountains for petroglyphs. And we had a great time seeing and learning about the famous Gobustan Mud Volcanoes!

Guys. Mountains are actually embedded as pegs in the earth. Collusion of two Creates earthquakes. One side rides over another but not more than few feet resulting in tremors and earthquakes in the surrounding areas. Quite scary.
You should bring your young scientists to our Yellowstone National Park - USA. It has mud pots, geysers, and all sorts of interesting geological wonders. Plus, bison and bears!
