Honestly this is what the Goblin Drill should have been like from day 1. It's ability is fundamentally broken, being a building you can place directly onto the opponent's tower. It's great to see this insane concept on paper finally getting the strength it deserves

​@opsoo2229 it was actually more broken, it would spawn like 3 goblins on death and the spread of them was insane. A valkrie wasn't even able to stop the drill from dealing at least 800 damage 😂😂😂 fun times

I remember a CWA video from many years ago where Ash talked about how long the miner has remained the strongest card in-game, and will never be replaced. He jokingly said, "Unless they release goblin drill." Yeah not really a joke anymore...

100% agree! Ive been using a fast drill cycle deck : goblin drill, evo bomber, evo skellies, bomb tower, log, fire spirit, tornado and poison. Its given me a 90% winrate. If you dont have evo bomber then use evo knight or bandit for similar pressure. Absolutely broken deck rn and im beginning to love the goblin drill +nado combo which can catch poeple with counters like valk of guard, causing 500+ damage

@@GetSomeLaughDoug usually you run cannoneer with this deck so there isnt much need for air defense. Balloon can be countered with just a nado too. Poison /nado and fire spirit takes care of air swarm. Air can be tricky but there isnt really much lava hound in the meta which is the main threat

I played against this deck with my own drill and the opponent barely touched my tower. I use bowler, exe, nado, poison, LP and evos bomber/prince. It's a way slower deck but really defensive and can take out towers really quick

I'm so happy to see goblin drill back in the meta, one of my favorite win conditions.

May I ask which evo in this deck do you prefer? Since I am not a level 15 player and I think most people are not also. And is it fair to switch the normal skeletons to an ice spirit or the e spirit?

I use Goblin Drill with Tornado and Magic Archer (used to have G. Princess but swapped for Knight Evo). I never thought about swapping in Executioner for MArcher, I’ll try that. Update: Yeah, Exey is a lot better than MArcher. It loses the amazing synergy with Drill Nado, one really important since my deck has no other spells, but the better defence is really appreciated.

You really need to use cannoneer in this deck, it works WAY better with it over princess tower

I made my own drill deck and used it for 8 months now so I’m scared for this buff because supercell is for sure gonna kill drill in a few weeks 😭

On the subject of the new suggested format, I personally dislike it because it feels disconnected from the gameplay. And often times there's missing the next card you'll have in hand, so if you will try it, be sure to include it.

This buff is great because it makes the game extremely fun to play again

Broken, except when I use it, and everyone has valk, bowler, dark prince, and I get zero damage on the tower

I think if you are using the cannoneer you aren’t able to because it kills the hog before he hits the king

@@Bosscr I might have just been placing my fisherman wrong, but the hog wouldn't target my king tower it kept targeting my princess after pulling. I've done the king activation before, I guess today I wasn't doing it right so I was wondering maybe fisherman got a nerf or sumn.

I don't know if it was you, but when evos first came out, so RG, fire cracker and barbs. I saw a video with this deck but with no evos and goblins instead of skeletons i think. On the video format, mybe in the next video make a pool on the next video coment section

Id argue gob drill has always been a solid 7/10 card n now its a 9/10. U mentioned at the start of the vid it was pretty bad n now its good, i just think its always been above average

When spam is so bad you can't let your opponents troops cross the bridge, something is wrong. Context: last several matches, other than defending, the only thing my opponent did was spam hog, eq, and fire cracker at the bridge, unless nothing crosses the bridge they get guaranteed damage. Some used goblin barrel and a mid to light tank for the fire cracker, works for most types of spam decks. Point being it's hugely infuriating and unfun to lose just because of a three card spam.

Yes im running running 3 musk's, evo archers, evo barbs, fisherman, ice golem, arrows, b-barrel, drill, and it works so great for me rn amazing split pressure with great defense and spells. The goblin drill is almost guaranteed DMG so it's been great for me

I appreciate the larger gameplay screen. Ian77 uses the small screen and its horrible to watch
