Just a heads up, Rezero is a psychological series with slower moments and a heavy emphasis on dialogue. It’s good to pay attention to details, like visual metaphors and characterization in dialogue, and think about why characters, especially Subaru, act the way they do. Things that you wouldn’t expect to have meaning later do. It definitely opens a new perspective rewatching the anime after you finish. The characters start off heavily flawed and we get to see them overcome those flaws (though mostly Subaru in the first season). There’s also an emphasis on the sins of a character, so, if you see words like the “pride” of a character being mentioned, remember that. Though, I’ll be honest, most people really only enjoy the series at the surface level and don’t pay much attention to the deeper meanings. I can’t force you to be analytical.

@@Faxityy the 1st opening of season 2 is realize i highly recomment you re zero with its 2 ovas its one of best shows if you dont see it I tell you that this show has almost 4 years of waiting for 2nd season but first from 2016 is good prolog to story One ova 2nd is prequel but its best if you watch it after 2nd season and novel has almost 7 arcs anime adapts right now 4 and finaly it will be 11-12 arcs if its hard to read my english understand that I am slovak.

Yeah. One of the best parts of the anime and novels is experiencing Subaru’s (and later other characters) flaws being analyzed and watching him overcome them, which also serves as a lesson to the audience. Unfortunately, a lot of people think a good main character is supposed to be cool (if not personality-wise, then at least physically). Rezero definitely isn’t for people that can’t sympathize or empathize with a character.

She also sang the first opening, actually. Openings 2 and 4 have the same singer as well, but in OP2 she was part of the band Myth & Roid, whilst in OP4 she's alone as she started her solo career 2 years ago if I remember correctly.

A little inside without spoilers of Re Zero anime structure if you're curious. Season 1: Has three arcs, arc 1 being the weakest and shortest of all, then arc 2 that is the second shortest arc, but a good one and the arc 3 being the majority of the season and where the show hits hard. Ovas: First ova being "Memory Snow" nice filler with fun shenanigans and some foreshadowing, this ova is actually from events that take place betwen arc 2 and arc 3, In short: After ep 11, but before ep 12. You decide if you want to watch it in order, you can skip the ova or watch it before the second Ova that is "Frozen Bonds" being a nice inside of a small backstory (Not an entire backstory) i really recommend to watch this one after S1. Season 2: The most easy to explain, it is all about arc 4, the longest and fan favorite arc for now. The WN is in the start of arc 7 i think. Re Zero will have 11 or 12 arcs if i remember correctly. Sry for my english.

If you mean in the novels, I’d say people like arc 6 the most. Though, there are also a lot of people that like arc 5. Tappei’s writing just keeps jumping in quality. Apparently, arc 11 is supposed to be twice as long as a normal arc, so, if the anime adapts everything, it should have like 10 seasons.

@@idk-ye7ur Nah. She doesn’t appear that much in the arc. Besides, people hating her has really become more of a meme than anything. She’s just a mediocre character that was written to be annoying and didn’t appear that often. The problem was fixed in the light novel since her chapters are no longer from her perspective.

Realize is an absolute banger the "i love who i am" at the end of Long Shot makes a lot of sense with the themes of Re:Zero

(Sorry for my English) Hello, I can say for sure and confident that re zero is the most mind-blowing anime and web novel, after and during each episode you watch and don't stop thinking, start building theories and freak out from what is happening, i have never read and seen novels and anime like this(except for evangelion)

@@Faxityy for me. It's my favourite out of all anime. After this comes FMA brotherhood. So you can judge how good Re:Zero is for being number one. It's peek fiction. For me it's my favourite thing out of any form of entertainment. Just a personal opening though. Can't wait for you to reaction to this and join for Re:zero family.

This show SLAPS! You HAVE to start with the Director's Cut of Season One, they touched up some animation, lengthened some scenes, and added some cut dialogue Also the version of the third opening you watched was used as an ending the first time they showed it, that's why there's all the text scrolling. The normal opening version of it is called Version 2 on the crunchyroll collections channel, which is dumb as shit, but it's there if you want to watch it

Re zero is a story about perseverance. Its one man’s journey of correct his flaws to become a better person. Lots of good subtle but important and impactful themes. I would watch the hell out of your reactions not gonna lie. Hope you enjoy this.

I understand people doing blind reactions wouldn’t understand this, but I wish people would do the v2 opening of Realize. The one everyone reacts to was used as the ending for either episode 1 or 2 and it has a credit scroll instead of the OP credits, and the way they did the OP credits adds another layer of outstanding to the OP, using the Lugunican I-script and glitching it into the Japanese kana and English.

what’s hilarious is that rezero barely plays its openings in both seasons (mainly season 2) also this anime has side stories called “If stories” written and posted by the author on Subaru’s birthday (april 1st) as you can tell by the name, they are “what if” Subaru didn’t make the right decision in certain situations. They give more depth into the characters and how the world works. I would love to see u react to them after your done watching season 2, because they are very interesting and ive only seen 2 people react to these.

I don’t really like most isekai but Re:Zero is one of my all time Favorite series. At first it’s like okay some edgy borderline harem shit, but it’s so well written and has a lot of depth. Every time I re watch/re read Re:Zero I realize something new. While it’s likable if you just watch it but something I like to say corny it is, is “you haven’t really watched Re:Zero until you Re:watch it”. I can’t recommend it enough

Op 1 and 3 are Konomi Suzuki. Not LiSA... better than LiSA. Op 2 is Myth and Roid, and 4 is the singer from Myth and Roid who started a solo career I guess. Ending 1 is Myth and Roid as well, 2 is the lead female VA, and 3 and 4 are both Nonoc.
