This time Im traveling by that Blue Murahara Volvo. Both the yellow & blue buses of Murahara & are very popular. Surprisingly our bus reached Kollam, one hour early. I was very surprised & super proud of Murahara. The bus crew was very supportive as well. Both the drivers drove at a good speed & maintained that speed throughout the journey. In fact, there were many passengers who complimented the staff for their service & said would travel again. The bus starts its journey from Mapusa Bus stand in Goa. Leaves by 2 pm, so it won't halt for any lunch break. However, it stopped for two loo breaks & one tea break apart from the dinner halt. This journey is very scenic as it does coastal journey from end to end. The distance is approximately 900 km. It takes around 22-23 hours to complete this journey. The bus fare was Rs. 1800. The last stop is Kollam, from there another Volvo will take you till Thiruvananthapuram. This ensures that the bus drivers get some proper rest as they have to leave again in the afternoon time. Total of 4 crew members travel on this journey. Two drivers, one conductor & one cleaner. You have pickups from many cities along the way. Hence, a separate conductor travels as well. The entire journey is by NH 66 highway. Hence it's one of my favorites, as I love to travel on coastal routes. I have done many Mumbai to Mangalore bus journeys mainly for this purpose. @@Ash2travel Ash, it could be done i think. The distance from kochi-mumbai is around 1500 km. So, if a bus starts from kochi early in the morning would reach mumbai the next day morning right? Maybe, within 28 hrs? For example, if a bus starts from kochi at 5:00 a.m, it would be probably reaching mumbai at 9:00 a.m the next day, right? Edit: If Murahara is operating the bus 😂❤
